LOL at Conley being one of the worst starting PG's. He's right in that 10-14 range. Now that people are starting to watch a few more games, they see how valuable he is to the team.

Who cares if he averages 7 rebounds a game? He averages 5 assists a game and plays next to the 2nd best rebounder in the league. You're just trying to nitpick :lol

I looked 15 times, I couldn't see anything Hump did to make KG fall like that. Is there an angle I missed? From what I could tell, he bodied him, and turned as soon as the shot when up, KG's leg came out from under him for no reason? What Rondo so hot about? Was there a prior issue ala the Palace?

According to BHZ, the Grizzlies were going to make the finals last year. You throw enough **** at a wall, some of it is bound to stick.

And I don't give a damn if I said that or not. We were a darkhorse contender last year, but most know that ZBO was nowhere near as good as he could've been. After the previous year they had, it wasn't foolish to think they could have made the finals. So, you going to call me out again for saying they can make the finals this year and if they come up short, its going to be a joke? :lol

You talking like I said Portland was making the Finals last season :lol . Memphis isn't the joke of the league anymore, Chester. They are an elite team with elite players. Put the keyboard down!

Marc Gasol is a very skilled center. His rebounds are down, but the season is still very young.

?

Not to mention, Marc always seem to stay healthy. He's always somewhere at the top of the league in minutes played and rarely misses a game. How many centers in the league are doing that now in days? Dwight stayed pretty healthy the majority of his career before last season. We all know about Bynum.

IMO the elite centers are

Dwight
DMC
Brook Lopez
Marc Gasol
edit: Greg Monroe

Bynum I guess

Chandler (GREAT player but not a real threat in the post except for a few dunks here and there)
Horford
Jefferson
Noah
Hibbert
Gortat

I dont count Garnett, Bosh and Duncan (although maybe I should count Duncan)

Also with the exception of Dwight, Brook has torched all these guys in head to head matchups.

DMC is not an elite center. potentially he can be, but not yet

I dont think so either, but his stats say otherwise, so I put him up there anyways.

I would literally take every single one of those centers over Roy Hibbert.

Hibbert for Lopez 8o

i know I know |I

Kg flopped in attempt to get Humphries in trouble. Rondo reacted like an idiot and ruined his streak like an idiot.

will KG get fined for that? He definitely should. And as much as I like Rondo, he definitely deserves a suspension for that.

You didn't say "they could make the finals".

You said "last year I said they would make the playoffs and win a series. This year I'm saying they're making the finals. They have the team to do it"

Then Swaggy P Shattered your dreams.

Given his history and actually going into the stands this time, I feel like Rondo is going to be suspended at least five games. What's everyone else thinking?

Oh well. They did have the team to do it, just like they have the same exact core this year to get it done. I guess I can't get everything right :p

And I agree on Rondo. He needs at least 5 games and fined. Tired of his ******** .

I would be surprised if Rondo's suspension is anything less than 5 games. 5 to 10 games is the range I'm thinking Rondo will receive.

Didn't Dwight play like 4-5 straight healthy seasons before hurting his vagina last year?

How is someone like Brook Lopez considered an elite center but Al Horford is not? Even Greg Monroe and DMC, can we see them sustain it for a while before calling them elite? That word is thrown around too damn much.

Y'all are getting rondo confused with DMC. He'll get a fine and like half a game.

Didnt go through all the pages but please can someone post a gif of joe johnson crossing over paul pierce from lastnight ? johnson made em look a fool

Because Brook is literally the best scorer at that position in the NBA. Al is a very very good center, but isnt the best at anything, although he is very good at alot of things. Brook also isnt THAT bad of a rebounder. He is averaging 7.5 for a center which isnt good, but isnt THAT bad.

Brook averages 17.5 and 7.5 and 1.2 blocks
Al averages 12.9, 9.5 and 1.1 blocks

also, I know you guys dont like head to head stats....but

in 10 head to head matchups
Brook is averaging 16.7, 7.1 and 1.5 blocks
Al is averaging 14.3, 9.7 and .8 blocks

I'll never disrespect Al Horford though, I just think he is kind of hidden down there in Atlanta, definitely one of the most underrated players in the league. But Brook is honestly a matchup nightmare. He pulls opposing centers away from the basket and changes defenses. For example in the Lakers game, the Lakers couldnt even put their best defender (Dwight) on Brooke, because he played so far away from the rim that they were forced to defend him with Pau (who got torched).
