The Mavericks are 7-18 and need to build around DSJ and any young talent they can get...if Nerlens Noel was any good at this point in his 4th/5th year he'd be getting playing time.
It's funny that most of the same people that last night and today were like "who's this Holmes guy?" are the same ones that were on some "FREE NERLENS/FREE JAH" over the past couple years. That Holmes guy is one of the top reasons Okafor and Noel were riding the pine their last years in Philly.

Buc Em told us Okafo was gonna post 20-10 and be the next Elton Brand. He said the sixers shouldn't draft Embiid because they had Okafor and Noel. Idk who to believe sometimes.

These aren't related.
Saying Free Nerlens and Free Jah meant people wanted to see them get a chance to go elsewhere and not be held hostage. You can know who Richaun Holmes is and still say Free Jah or Free Nerlens

Anybody who followed the Sixers last year knew Holmes was a better version of what Noel is. He did everything Noel was known for, only better and can shoot jumpers. This was consistent the last two years.
And ofcourse anyone would be pissed if you used the third lottery pick in a row to draft another injured Center. Even Embiid was confused.

I honestly think Noel's attitude is what is holding him back. He showed DPOY potential in his rookie year but you read stories that made you wonder if he's got his head straight.

yea its pretty nuts how alot of laker fans expect randle to be a superstar. he wasnt drafted in the top 3. he was drafted with the 7th pick. he doing a pretty good job for a 7th pick by todays standards

The issue is from everything we've seen from Noel he deserves to be on the floor. It seems the Mavericks are punishing him for turning down the big contract they offered him, which is incredibly idiotic.
