Can't wait til Donovan tries to tell Melo "we need you come off the bench for us"
He shouldn't have a problem to be honest, if you watch him play this year he has already accepted the role of boxing out for Russ. So coming off the bench should be no biggie.

Worst MVP ever

Definitely not, Steve Nash not deserving MVP is a ridiculous meme at this point, perpetuated by Shaq. Like they were ever going to give it to him for being the second best player on his team.

I wouldn't say Shaq wasn't the Heat's best player in 05.

so ya'll are asking for a team who is having problems with Offense & shooting to bench Melo... for even less offense & shooting?

Melo has played horrible thus far, with that said he has had a lot of open looks just not dropping this year. Considering he has been a good shooter his entire career chances are he'll eventually improve back to the norm in that area.

Also as far as him coming off the bench, he plays a decent amount of minutes with the bench players already.

Hmm, I want to see the nt war over Nash vs Westbrook not even specific seasons but player vs player

Rose is the worst injury or not

I feel pretty strongly that Wade was better, and certainly during the stretch run. Either way I don't see Shaq as an MVP that year. The Kobe over Nash argument I see but voters just were never going to give it to someone on a team that bad.

Nash was deserving. It's like people forget that the Suns transformed the entire NBA into what it is today. Game was 78-76 at the half last night and no one blinks an eye.

Thanks for your intelligent words.

Their biggest issue is ball movement. They average the fewest passes in the league. So yes while Melo is not THE problem he's contributing to the problem on offense.

Also even if you think Melo is somehow gonna turn it around it makes sense to stagger 3 iso players rather than have them all on the court together.. And PG is the most adaptable.

I still think mda and the suns get too much credit for 'revolutionizing' offense. They didn't do anything that hadn't been done before

Russ will be in the top 50 players of all time.
Top 10 PGs of all time.
First ballot Hall of Famer.

I hope in his speech, he is thanking KD. Without him, Russ would have been nothing more than a stat-padding loser, something similar to Boogie in Sac.

Teams are still running sets that MDA invented almost 15 years ago.

MDA so dope he hasn't won a championship... I never understood the hype for him and Nash.

You play the game to win... Don't talk to me about losers who've gone their whole careers without even reaching the finals.
