You put a ridiculous amount of pressure on your defense when you're throwing away possessions with bad, inefficient shots.

You just can't afford to throw away possessions against Golden State or Houston.
His shot selection is the last of my worries with him.
I'm cool with a gunner.
Bad shots come with that.
What I cannot get over, (thanks to wavy punkass video) is his lack of movement after the pass.
Like, his movement off ball, on a scale of (0 no movement) and (10 never stops moving), he's at a 0.
He NEVER. MOVES. Ever.

Who cares about his shot selection.
Again, very least of Russ' problems.
Those don't Kill the team or stop the offense.
Him passing the ball kills it because when he doesn't have the ball, he doesn't move at all, so nobody else can move.
ANd that is just basic Math.
Long story short, if Russ is not passing for an assist opportunity, I'd rather him not pass AT ALL, I'd rather him shoot and miss and keep things moving and that's sad.
And that's just the disgusting truth.

Crazy how worthless Simmons was last night in ot. Offense was give the ball to embiid. That lebron comparison is off. Lebron never been that bad at getting buckets.
Ben was pissing me off in the 4th quarter and OT...he played all them mins and took like 10 shots, basically just brought the ball up and just stood in the corner or the baseline ...if Embiid just had even a lil more help down the stretch they woulda won

I mean, those aren't mutually exclusive. They're tied together and cause guys on the team to take those "bad, inefficent shots" that I mentioned.

In either instance, Russell taking a contested off the dribble long jumper or russ passing to a teammate, russ not moving, then teammate takes a contested off the dribble long jumper = a possession thrown away.

Really it’s just frustrating watching someone so gifted take awful shots. He’s an elite talent for sure.
no one has said otherwise. He's a first ballot hof.
His style of play just isnt going to win you anything significant and it's ugly as he'll to watch. Watching inefficient chuckers isn't entertaining to me.

Kd is so damn great, how he got as far as he did inspite of having this dude on the team.
Westbrook perfect team is a 01sixers team.

as far as small forwards go who do you guys see being available on the buyout/trade market?

I would love to see N.O add one more piece to their team. Don't think they can beat any of the top three seeds in a series but they have TWO DOMINATE players & could atleast make it interesting if they have a lil more help.

They've had the 8th strongest schedule so far & have dealt with injuries & are still .500. I see them getting to a 6th seed & them vs S.A wouldn't be that easy for SA considering they have NO answer for either Cuz or AD

hes like 7 ft 280 LBS. What he did last night was impressive. Show me lot of dudes his size that can play 50 Mins. Bigger dudes built differently.

I remember watching the play of his last iso against Patterson, he barely got a shot up out of exhaustion and was dragging his feet to get back on defence. The he comes out of nowhere and swats russ's shot in 3OT. If you'd notice after the clip below, he barely had any energy to go after the rebound:

Embiid hustles.

Playoff numbers for the two....

Russ - 25/6/8 on 41/30/84.... 3 turnovers
Harden - 20/5/5 on 42/33/86 ..... 3 turnovers

Ones an inefficient "cancer"
one is Magic Harden one of the "best offensive players ever" ............

tf you talking bout b? everybody knows both of dem suck as the number one option in the playoffs.

Post Hardens stats since he’s been in Houston....
You’re always ignoring context when it’s convenient for your narratives
