Apparently a max deal only gets you 9/6/3 on 33% shooting nowadays. This Wiggins deal is looking worse and worse.

Who dis?

The Nuggets won't quit, and Jokic is finishing on a tear: 23.9 points, 11 rebounds, and six dimes per game since March 7, on 54/48/89 shooting --plus a clutch tip-in to seal a must-win over Minnesota on Thursday. Egads.

Dude is balling.

Jokic is wrapping perhaps the best passing season of all time for a big man. He is on pace to be the fourth human 6-foot-10 or taller -- along with Wilt Chamberlain (twice), Kevin Garnett and Ben Simmons -- to average six assists per game. Jokic has assisted on 29 percent of Denver baskets while on the floor, a higher share than Chamberlain or Garnett ever produced. And Simmons isn't really a big guy. He's just a Ben Simmons -- an anomaly.

KAT literally does everything better than Jokic on offense though.

do you trade Wiggins?

Who wants that deal though?

That's what made the Wolves offering him the max so perplexing to me. Everyone was acting like it was a foregone conclusion he'd get the max and the Wolves can't offer him a penny less. I'm thinking "who are the other teams that are lining up to offer Wiggins the max?".

They could've offered him less IMO

Remember all that Durant > Lebron talk after last year's Finals? Remember all that "the torch has been passed" talk?

Durant can't even lead a team with two other all-stars against the Pacers, how is he better than Lebron?
