I’m cool with it. Hopefully Bamba lands here or even Bagley. Jaylen is legit though

Bron is going to opt-in and then get traded to HOU for Ryan Anderson, Eric Gordon, and all draft capital they have.

HOU will start next season with CP3/Harden/James/Tucker/Capela and then whatever veterans want to play there.

And why is Cleveland going to take on Anderson's contract? So they can get a sixth man and a bunch of late first round draft picks and still have no cap flexibility?

Lose LBJ for nothing or get a hoard of future picks and assets.

Sure Ryan’s contract would be an eyesore but I could easily see them saying that since they won’t Be in the business of competing for the next couple Of years post bron, that it would be worth the cap it if they’re actually getting value for Bron instead of losing him for nothing

Eric Gordon would instantly be their 2nd best player. Gather as many draft assets as possible. In 2 years everybody comes off the books at the same time and you get a clean slate.

Even if Bron decides to leave this summer, they will still have zero cap flexibility until the summer of 2020, when they'd have like $4-5M in cap space. So regardless, they are basically screwed until the summer of 2021. Might as well at least get some draft picks.

knowing dan gilbert, he'll let lbj walk
he did what he could to surround lbj with talent and lbj will choose to dip to play with his friends instead of staying in " da land"
the narrative is there, dan gilbert already got his press release drafted

A bunch of draft assets is going to be 29th-30th picks in the first round, not to mention those contracts are going to push them way deep into the luxury tax. No one is paying 30-60 million in luxury tax to take in at most 2 late first rounders and eric gordon who you may he able to flip for a mid to late first rounder.

The cavs would be better off just waiting it out and tanking.

The only way the Bron gets to the Rockets is through a multi team trade.

Somerhing like

Rockets get Bron, Jr Smith

Some team with cap space gets Ryno, Nene and some 1st rounders

Another team with cap space gets Eric Gordon

Cavs get a trade exemption and a draft pick

Can't wait for the comic sans letter.

Dan is through with Bron. Last thing he wants to do is help him on the way out.

Agreed with this, Cleveland at the same time is going to want to get at least picks

Yea Cleveland isnt just going to replace Bron’s salary because they’re currently in the luxury tax

It’ll have to be some complex 3-4 team deal.

I guarantee Morey went ahead and got the particulars ironed out last summer after he got Paul.

Korver and Hill will bait a team into trading for them once Lebby leaves

Korver especially, would love to see his last useful years on a team that needs a shooter

He's on a reasonable deal but still unplayable if he's not hitting shots

A playoff team will take a chance, it's worth it. The season after next on his deal isn't even guaranteed

Hill and Henny Smith have the same contract stipulations

I don’t even know if Korver can shoot anymore. Everytime I tune into the finals I see him bricking a 3

warriors defense is historically good. gets overshadowed by their offense. this stretch of years might be the best in modern nba ball
