Celts aren't going to have cap space to sign any major free agent for like the next 5+ years. That point about it being off-putting to future potential free agents shouldn't matter.

About to lose Hayward (trade) and Kyrie (FA) for 3 years of old man Lebron. Not worth. Your current roster the way it’s built right now has a better chance. Y’all have the perfect balance of defense, 3pt shooting, and depth. Why ruin that ?

Why would you assume Kyrie would leave in FA? Gets to play for the best GM and one of the best coaches in the league, best crowd, team full of young talent, win chips, make a ton of money.

Well if Lebron comes, Kyrie isn’t staying.
 
Don’t see Lebron going to Boston but if he did, Kyrie left to Boston to make a team great and they made it to the ECF without him and almost won. Sure Kyrie could’ve been the X factor that would’ve pushed them over that game 7 hump but nobody sees Boston as “Kyries team”
