"Work smart, not harder"
It's evident his GM-like role in Cleveland all went for naught TWICE this season alone. That's too much distraction and unwarranted effort he put in just to get swept in the Finals.
He's 33? 34? Idk, but clearly he's capable of contributing more to a team that's built to win in the future.
I think it's a focus of his maturity/character and understanding where he needs to channel his efforts intelligently; which he can do to mentor younger supporting casts. That's why Philly is ideal cuz he has young, promising teammates that would want to learn and play with him.
Warmer climates, business ventures, playing with CP3/Harden, or building a super team with PG and Boogie in LA are things he could consider because of his age but then again... the Warriors.
Point is... it's the matter of prioritizing his talents as a player rather than worrying to assume roles as either a manager or coach.
