Weird Kentucky system. Dude is a scorer with good measurables. Get him motivated and he can guard 3-4 positions. Doesn't turn 19 til August.

If either of the Bridges are there at 9, wouldn't be a bad choice. If Trae's still there mistakes will have been made

I love how young he is & how much weight he'll be able to add to his frame.
The Kentucky system definitely holds some players back.

Fool we ain’t trading up for Noah Vonleh Jr when we already have Embiid and Dario in the frontcourt
We’re looking into that trade up either because the Spurs would rather have somebody in the top 5 instead of or with Fultz, we like either Doncic or Trae better than Fultz, or because we have some type of verbal commitment from LeBron and he wants Trae Young. It can really only be one of those things.

Only players that get held back in that system are big men don’t get to chuck up threes. Knox had the green light to do as he pleased from day one. He just doesn’t play hard. Grew up rich. He is not hungry.

Realistically if Knox stayed at Kentucky for another season he’d probably have the exact same season. He is who is. That’s why I don’t really like that mindset of him being way better than Mikal at the same age therefore he’s gonna be way better at 23

I don't think anyone thinks he'll realistically be WAY better than Mikal just because he's good at 18. I'll take my chances on him though. He's a much better scorer off the dribble than Mikal is.
