I had the option to switch shoe companies in myplayer. Went from adidas to nike but it still shoes my adidas shoes. Anyone else had this problem?

You need to earn attribute upgrades by practicing. Actually the quickest way to earn those is to go into the weight room next to the basketball court and do vertical leap exercises.
