DCAllAfrican DCAllAfrican that take I can agree with. They held down basketball games both college and nba for years so I will always appreciate the dev team. I guess i just wish the my player mode, which as a youngin I always wanted, would be a bit more realistic when it comes to the story. I understand the fluff is what captures the younger gamer, just don’t go too overboard and alienate the older consumer.
The world doesn't want realistic. The world wants fantasy.

I loved 2K10, when your MyPlayer would stay in the D-League if you didn't play well. When you couldn't buy your way to an 85 OVR. When you started out as a 60 OVR. I loved that type of player.

BUT, folks cried about it, as they do every year when stuff is too hard.

Just like this year, there is NO LONGER an invisible forcefield that prevents people from going out of bounds.

It will be patched, watch.
 
i just think its wack i gotta pay $100 just because i want to play next weekend.....i usually get the regular copy and buy VC if i want..........dont need all that myteam stuff when the servers are garbage.
 
It is a deep game, but it’s also Barbie 2k. Bruh you have to pay for haircuts otherwise your player is rocking a bowl cut

Not if you never played MyPlayer at all.

Haven't touched that mode since its inception and have no plans too since 2K on that microtransaction nonsense now.

I play 2K for Exhibition and Association mode which are still high quality and enjoyable.

Y'all can have that other fluff.

Honestly, in life, if you want to do something early/soon/faster than most/all, it comes with a cost. I am sure if any of us were "2K" we would do the same. I mean you could just wait though.
 
These layups I'm seeing in gameplay videos are looking bizarre. Melo taking off from the 3 pt line :sick:
 
hopefully your attributes aren't ****** this year in myplayer and the archetypes aren't garbage

live got the whole archetype thing perfect

Always hated the take-off lengths in the 2K series, so unrealistic.

But that is all about triggering animations, some humans are just good at that.
 
Might finally get 2k again after a hiatus since 2k13. Dont care about VC, Myteam, and all that extra garbage. All i care about is how the online servers and online leagues been?
 
Live, though the gameplay is poor, has the right idea for the myplayer mode. Story is still there but it feels way more organic. I think there's a happy medium between what 2k gave us in 2010(which I loved) and what we have now (which is some bull frankly)
 
movement is great in demo.......steph curry/KD/klay shot felt like their shot. hard to explain

I said this in the other thread, I would reserve judgement too high/low based on the DEMOS. Remember the goal of a DEMO is to get NEW fans, so don't wonder why things are too hard/easy when it is definitely made for super casual fans.
 
Struggling to find the difference between last year's game and this year's. I know it's a demo but the gameplay and mechanics are there and it feels and plays exactly the same
 
Was a 6’10 pure sharp SF 96 with HOF badges

Played nothing but pro am walk on with my bros

Made the same build again for 19
Dropped 50 on vc so my guy is 85 already

I only preordered the lebron edition just so I can play it on the 7th(I don’t even care about my team)

I need help
 
Exactly why I'm happy I grew up playing N64,PS1,PS2,GC,XBOX, etc.

Younger generation has no idea how gaming should be.

Can't imagine paying for this broken POS 3 times over just to level the playing field.

Still wonder how far along Live would have been if Mike Wang wouldn't have ever left after Live 10.

Live 10 was a GOOD game
Live 10 was the year they tried to implement dual stick dribbling, right? That feature blew my mind because of how much sense it made. One stick for player movement one stick for ball movement.

I hope someone revisits that idea at some point.
