Official NBA OFF-SEASON Thread - 2011: Free Agency Dec. 9th

Ill - no its hump blocking robin

That nbasource guy was just not believable. It could happen but he stated dallas got involved because they are letting butler walk so they wanted a replacement in marvin williams. Dominique jones and haywood should of been enough for marvin. I could see it though.

It's not hard at all, just get a few people to run with it with you, and you're golden.

Now the reported offer FROM Minny is #2/Beasley for Bynum.

What would they do, move Pau to 5, draft Derrick?

Man... I became such a big Harden fan over the past season. Totally never was before.

And if that Chris for Westbrook idea ever grew legs, I better be getting him, too.

And there were fools on here that thought he should've returned to ASU.

Edit:

Not to mention the ones that thought Tyreke or Steph would help the Thunder more.

^^Esp. in the playoffs. After the semis, I was sold.

Nice little discussion the BS Report today. Chad Ford believed the following deal should be done by the Lakers, if they want D12:

Gasol, Bynum, and Odom for D12 & Arenas

Reasoning: Lakers' have a terrible cap situation, New CBA and hard cap possibility (read=likelihood), and Otis Smith realizing that D12 will not move from Orlando for a smaller market (the implication being that the big markets will not be able to sign D12 as a FA and will have to aggresively trade for him)

Interesting.

He's ridiculous, he's what makes the maturity of the Thunder scary to me.

He just seems to get it.

To be fair after that Syracuse game in the tourney people did get kinda low on him (as did I). Nice to see him bounce back in a big way.

hopefully our coach just seems to get it and starts him.. he has to eventually realize starting off going 2.5 on offense won't work

our playing time should go something like this:
KD, westbrook & harden should all get 35+ staggered
ibaka some place around 30
collison depnding on the team 20-30
perkins depending on the team 20-30
maynor 15
thabo or cook around 15 depending on who is playing better and what we need
aldrich 10-15 (obviously depends on his development and learning from perk)

i doubt we resign narz.. i assume we'll make an offer, but he'll get a better one some place else

One game (well actually three with the USC and the Temple games before) shouldn't discredit what he did that season and his freshman season. He and Pendergraph were literally the only high caliber D1 athletes on that team.

James deserves to start but if he does, that really weakens the bench.

i think if we keep 1/2 of the 3 of KD/westbrook/harden on the floor at all times i think we're good

and brooks finally played maynor and westbrook together in OUR LAST GAME OF THE YEAR.. you would have thought he learned how well westbrook might be able to do it from college and the olympics

but we still have maynor, collison, cook, thabo, nate and aldrich for bench production.. and whoever we draft

and we still have cap space and i assume we can make a trade

I see the Thunder getting a hybrid forward in this draft. Someone like Chandler Parsons, Kyle Singler or Jimmy Butler to hopefully fill the Jeff Green role.
