I don't think I can ever forgive Melo for backpedaling like that
Do people think Roy "retired" on purpose, knowing he would come back, so he could have a banned (by the NBA) treatment to his knees without penalty? Regenokine is what Kobe and TMac did, it's not yet banned by the NBA as it's so new, but also doesn't have FDA approval either so it's only a few doctors doing it in the US. Roy had stem cell therapy done with platelet rich plasma.

Just how exactly can they ban a knee treatment though?
What's so illegal about repairing a knee?
Make no sense to me
i remember brandon being a lot faster than this. i mean i know he's hurt and all but if he's signed to play for twolves, doesn't that mean he's fully capable of playing normal again? if he drives into basket with that speed in the nba, he's gonna get murked
This being in a spoiler made me laugh. I was thinking troll and then you clarified it. Nice job.
Melo is better than Durant and if he was in Durant's position in the Finals, he wouldn't have disappeared imo
What? This cant be serious.....Do you guys realize the Clippers were a 32-win team without Chris Paul, and with them they were a 50-win team? (when their win % is averaged out into an 82-game season).
Deron Williams nearly didn't even will his team to the 20-win mark this season.
Eh. It didnt even look like he cared out there. This video was good just cause you saw him on the court moving, outside of that I dont think it means anything.Brandon Roy at Jamal Crawford's Summer Pro-Am Game.
I dont think this kind of judgement can be applied to B-Roy. His mental state is completely different than anyone elses on the floor. Hes not trying to exert himself over anything thats not worth it, and a game thats akin to a pick up game is not worth it. He really looked like he put in 15% effort or less out there.Agreed. Yeah he's not going 100% but a guy who was an NBA All-Star a few years ago and is projected to be a starter on a team this year that's going to be fighting for a playoff spot should destroy those dudes barely even trying. He made Evan Turner look like Derrick Rose in that video.

As for why it's banned in the US, no real reason other than they probably don't have lobbyists paying the FDA. It has been going on in Europe over a decade. Here's one more video on it talks about Terrell Owens and Mark McCormick.Roy said, "It’s hard being away from the game. Don’t be surprised if you see Brandon Roy make his way back to the court…”
Plus this:
According to sources close to the player, regardless of his knee problems, Roy’s decision to retire wasn’t all health related. “There’s something to it, but it’s not the right time for me to get into it right now,” Roy said. “I’ve been doing some treatment and I’m trying to leave the window open to returning to basketball.”

or just look at the quote symbol next to the thread and if it has the green arrow next to it then there's new posts and if you click it, it takes you to the last post you read in the thread and you can go from there. To see if new post have been added just subscribe or go to "My Profile"This thread shouldn't be stickied to the top. Ignore the sticky then. It's still with the other threads. This thread shouldn't be stickied to the top. It's better when you can actually see it with the regular threads and see if there's been new posts added to it.
Why is no one going after CJ Miles? There's nothing really to report anymore though, as, who's really left in the FA pool? Brandon Rush? Jodie Meeks? Etc.
There's nothing really to report anymore though, as, who's really left in the FA pool? Brandon Rush? Jodie Meeks? Etc. The Bulls have until 11:59PM tomorrow to match the Asik deal. They won't, as they're about to sign Nazr. Asik is a legit defending big, but we'll see how he handles starter minutes, since he gets into foul trouble easily.
Sounds like they're also on the verge of signing Marco Belinelli. Nice shooter/scorer off the bench with underrated playmaking skills. Pretty much just a replacement for Kyle Korver.
Surprised that Ronnie Brewer is still out there as a FA., he's a very nice defensive SG. Apparently, the Timberwolves are interested but I don't see any openings at the SG position. Knicks would make sense but I don't know what kind of money they have left to spend.
