Meh, what's Chandler going to put up if he were to get huge minutes? Maybe ~18 PPG & 6 RPG? I think you can find that at #7; not immediately, but in the future. And do you really want to pay Chandler $31.5 Million/4-years, especially when you're trying to rebuild?Originally Posted by Ballinsam23
Wilson Chandler is better than anyone you can get in that 7th pick range
The dude who gets paid like $40 million to play defense down low, Collison, maybe Mohammed (no idea if he is a free agent or whatever), someone they draft with the pick they would get for Ibaka, any random free agent signed for that specific purpose...

I agree, but you draft talent and trade for need. At #7 there really isnt much instant talent/huge potential available (drummond will be gone).Originally Posted by Blazers21NTNP

Wilson is one of my favourite players in the league, but he was absolute buns in the 2011 Playoffs (5 PPG, 4 RPG, .28 FG%), did not play well this past season when he returned to the NBA, and is coming off of hip surgery.
I don't think a Chandler/20th for Wright's expiring $4.1 mill/7th is a smart move for GSW.
And he will continue to be one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA, so imagine Thabo Sefolosha if he could actually score the ball. Plus he fills a need at the SF spot and brings the defense that the GSW SORELY needOriginally Posted by Blazers21NTNP

Shocked this is coming from you. But I completely agree. Hump is the new Jayson Williams for the Nets. No shotguns please.
He hustles his #!@ off out there. But I think he pads his stats just a little. He will blow an easy layup for the chance to get the offensive rebound and the putback more than 2 or 3 times a game. Which messed up Deron's assist total last year. He could have prolly lead the league in assists if the big men for the Nets didnt blow gimmies like it was their job.Originally Posted by Proshares

I'd be shocked to hear if anyone thought he wasn't TBH.
