Official New Balance Thread *sizing info for different models on first page*

I find most NB a little too short/narrow when sizing down .5 from TTS. Better to have a little extra room than a little less (for me at least)

I just put on a pair of 990BK2's in a half size up( 11) from my TTS (10.5). I wish I went TTS. It feels too Airy in the upper for my liking. However, I'm naturally wider-feet gang, so comfort is great. It supports my entire width of my foot, and I don't care about extra toe-space. Tbh it feels like a 998. When I put an orthotic midsole in addition to the regular midsole, it fit great.

so i did my research through this thread, reddit and youtube. i still cant find an answer for sizing on the 990v2 lol. 50/50 TTS or .5 down haha i cry

i wear the same size across all 990, 997, 998, 1700. Non-widefooter. In Nike, asics, saucony and Asian made NB I’m a 12...in US and UK NB 11.5 is a better fit.

Are they waterproof?

Like the others said they are not waterproof but they did a good job of protecting against the elements. Plus the super grip soles help me not bust my *** on all this ice!

Herrios? They fit tts for me. A little roomy in the Toebox Imo they fit perfect.

considering how much c notes go for, that may be a good move. my biggest concerns when buying used shoes are whether any defects can be cleaned easily and if the materials are in good condition (especially suede).
