Thanks for the heads up. Picked up the M577DGG and got a spare M577YOR . $130 each, shipped. I'm happy with that.
Unlike some UK and Euro stores, Allike does remove the 19% VAT for shoes shipped to US, Canada etc.

How did you get down to $130? I'm getting €127 shipped for 577YOR, which works out to about $142. That's still a good price, but I'd prefer to save another $12 if I can

Thanks! I still don’t know my NB sizing. I had the Sample Lab 1500s in 9.5 and would have preferred a 10. I had the Todd Snyder 997s in 10.5and they were too big. I assume a size 10 for these?

Soo, somehow my browser saved cookies from a j.crew cart that had a US 11 997 Herringbone just chillin there on my account (for months). Last week, it showed up "in stock" but the page wasn't loading anymore. I thought, "f- it, buy" because the discount code worked. It shipped and here today....

I bought two pairs of 577 (YOR and DGG) for total cost of 234 euros ($262 USD). The shipping charge was the same for two shoes as one, so that brought the cost paid down. Although NB (USA) initially retailed the 577YOR for $160, most 577's on NB.com and other US retailers sell for $200 retail. your cost of $142 landed is equivalent to getting the shoes in the US for $131 (before tax) a nearly 35% disco.

Makes sense, thanks for the explanation. Didn't realize that the shipping charge would be the same for two pairs. And yeah, like I said, I know $142 is a good price - I don't see the YOR at a discount anywhere else (and inventory seems to be drying up in general). It's a 20% discount off the ~$200 price I've seen elsewhere (no tax in NJ) which is solid. I'll probably pull the trigger
