You guys convinced me of pulling the trigger on the pebble blue 998s even thought I have c notes and bt 998.
I felt like I would regret it later on if I didn't cop at retail . So much for resisting buying kicks lol

Do not hang in this thread if you want to same money, stay away from facebook shoe groups and IG hashtags for new balance, you will lose everything. I've remortgaged my house 3 times due to this addiction. (jk). Congrats on the 998 pick up, you won't be disappointed.

Anyone wanna snap a picture of their 'collection' as is so we can see the different ways we all keep our shoes organized? Wether it be clear containers, original boxes, or shoes that roam free, I am curious as to just how organized some people are 

I keep mine in the og box and put the ikea shoe trees in them and organized them by model number (makes it really easy for me). I know some people like to use clear boxes either that drop down on the front side or a lid, I've seen some drawers out there too, honestly, the box is enough for me, I do have some that are breaking a bit like my 999 kennedy box.

never added shoe guards to mine, I never plan on selling any of them (but everything has their price), but I do take care of them but at the end of the day, it's different strokes for different folks.

I been rocking khaki pants or navy pants with my jcrew, I usually don't try to do the whole match tshirt with shoes with hat theme, but what specfically are you looking for?

By fits I meant what color shorts /pants and shirts to rock with pebble blues . I do not wear fitted hats

It searches by instagram hashtag, he used the style code for the pebble blue

look into the following hashtags:

newbalance

newbalance998

pebbleblue

and any other combination that might spit out what you are looking for.

and as far as t shirt colors, I've gone with white (oxford/tee), different shades of blue, it's a versatile shoe so I use anything really, I think burgundy tshirt would look good with it myself

Just got in my Shelflife's...didn't know what to expect with these since everyone's feedback was up and down, but lemme tell you, I'm glad I pulled the trigger 'cause on feet these look crazy dopeeeeeee. I'm a size 11.5, kinda wish I went with a 12, a little snug, but definitely not anything crazy noticeable. The suede is soft and the colors just click together perfectly. Happy I got to pick these up!!!

Jesus that's my bad, I spoke too fast. You're right. Dude NB GR's are just as nice as the collabs, that's why I love this brand from the first pair of 574s back in 8th grade.

That's the beauty of NB's. You don't have to claw and scratch for Collabs. The on-point ones are a nice grab but if you miss out, you can just go in for a consolation on many of the recent and past GR's and be a-ok, lol. Materials are always on point and shape-scrutiny aside most USA/UK releases are more then fine with the plus of being able to get them on discount later on if you want them and search for them hard enough. Although smaller sizes do have to search deeper.

Yeah, or if you miss a shoe that you like that happens to be really hyped up and impossible to get, you can usually mock up a similar custom on the NB site. When I missed the Kennedys I made a little Kennedy 574 and it came out pretty awesome. Definitely not the Kennedy's but they are MY Kennedy's. Kennedy's.kennedys
