One thing I love about New Balance is that although aquiring exclusives and collabs is dope, their are so many great GRs that a lazy/retired enthusiaist can still flex.

The biggest fit different on the deconstructed 696s is the low amount of volume. The shoe is not very deep. The toe box is tight on the top but the length for me was true to size. I've been a 13 in everything NB. Hope that helps.

FINALLY! What I've been patiently waiting for. Can't wait until they drop state side and go on sale/discount.
I had a little over 10 pages to catch up on, and man oh man, that J Crew sale was something else. Wish I would have checked in on the thread, would have gotten a New Navy pair and maybe a second Pebble Blue. They still have my size in the New Navy but I still won't pay anything near retail for them...too similar to my 998MB pair. Damn, wish I would have known lol

I sized down a .5 size from nike air max 1s and asics GLVs and GL3s and the DBRs fit perfect.

I think it depends on your foot. I find the 997 to be narrow and the toe box slopes downward. In terms of length, they're a tad long. You can get away with TTS or if you have a narrow foot, you could prob afford to size down .5.

so.... I got a shipping conformation email from concepts and I looked on my online banking and there is a pending charge for the customs but not the shoes...... After I specifically told them I wasn't paying the customs and they then agreed to send them without the added invoice... I think the bank will be getting a phone call to block that charge!
