What I like most is the mesh toe box and pops of color. I'd like to get some recommendations on new 997s to look for. What are some of the best, most wearable 997s with mesh toe boxes?

It’s one hell of a good looking shoe but
Abzorb did nothing for my knees...

After running on treadmill 40 mins with M998CM, I figured out 998 has no cushioning at all.

998 needs a midsole re-do, just like 997H....

These are lifestyle shoes now. Nobody actually runs in retro runners anymore. It's the same reason that basketball players largely avoid playing in retro models (unless they wanna stunt) - the tech is outdated. Do yourself a favor and get some legit running shoes from NB.

I would go with 10.5 in a 997.5. US-made pairs typically fit bigger than Asian-made pairs.
