Official New York Yankees Offseason Thread

Hope Miranda does well in Arizona.

With Teixeira holding down 1B for the next thousand years, there was no chance he was going to get any regular playing time there.

If Jeter really wants 5 or 6 years, that's OD.

He doesn't even have an Edge in this case...no other team is going to give him the money he thinks he deserves.

I can't believe the fall from grace Miranda has had.

A couple years ago the Yankees and everyone else was touting him as the next best prospect in all of baseball...not he is a 2nd class citizen...crazy...bye Juan

So, a female listener on Francesa's show just called up a few minutes ago and caught me off guard with her comment and question.

Her comment: She is not a Derek Jeter fan.
eek.gif

Her question: Why is it fair to talk about moving Jeter to 3rd in 2012, which is taking A-Rod away from his defensive position? Is it fair to A-Rod?

Her comment caught me off guard completely, didn't even give a reason. Her question though, fair statement.

Discuss.

You're right.  At least IPK looked good for a bit in AZ

About Justin Upton, he's looked as unmotivated and seems to be developing that same lackluster attitude/work ethic that his dumb !%* brother has after the WS run.  I'd pass.  Especially for the price they'd probably ask.
