:::[Official][NFC CHAMPIONSHIP] San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks @ Century Link:::

Why do most (not all) of the Seattle fanbase got the maturity level/sportsmanship of Richard Sherman tho?
laugh.gif
At least you, of all Niners fans, have the sophistication and dignity to ignore the chatter.

Now fall back. All the way back on those 5 trophies you all clamor over.

 Dont talk to me like that my man.

Like I've said twice already, congrats on the win and hold it down for the NFC West in NYC.

I'm surprised checks didn't post a picture of navorro's injury with a bunch of the 12th man celebrating in the background
....Because there's correlation between the pics of what I posted and what you're referring to?

If anyone was celebrating Bowmans injury -  shame on them. There are dumb, classless drunks at every stadium who will do things that will leave the wrong impression but don't act as if it's common theme up here and try to condemn Seahawks fans in that same group.

From what I've read seahawks fans reported the person throwing the popcorn and they were arrested. Good for them, that is not acceptable.

Not according to this Reddit thread.

Also, arrested for throwing popcorn? Maybe escorted out of the stadium, but that would be it.

Great source

Could be true, also could be a coverup for a terrible act by someone to protect the reputation of a fanbase.

I'm not gona sit here and say I'd want someone arrested for throwing popcorn but honestly if it was intentionally thrown by someone then it's truly one of the more disgusting acts you could do/that I've heard a fan do.

Dont wana compare a beer to popcorn but I'm pretty sure everyone knows what happened when Ron Artest had one thrown at him and he wasn't even hurt, this dude Bowman just had one of the most gruesome knee injuries you'll ever see and he's gotta deal with people throwing food and i'd assume screaming some hateful words his direction :smh: Just not cool and I'm sure/would hope everyone here would agree with that IF it was intentionally thrown.

EDIT--

Bill Williamson ‏@BWilliamsonESPN 7h
#49ers video shows a few pieces popcorn falling on the great Navorro Bowman as he was carted off. Just one person but still disgusting act

And your source saying the person was arrested is who, Walter Cronkite?

I guarantee that whoever threw the popcorn or whatever was some bandwagon fan or someone who doesnt appreciate the sport of football. Whoever threw that popcorn was not a representation of the Seahawks fanbase.

A few of my homies flew up (49er fans) sat in the Hawks Nest, decked out in 49er gear, had a 49er country banner, you could even see them on TV behind the goal posts, and all of them had nothing but good words about the Seahawks fans. They were invited to tailgate with a group of 100 or so people they didnt know and were the only 49er fans among them.

Don't let the foolish act of one individual cloud your judgement of a whole fan base.

when u hit up pikes place, try one of those piroshkys (sp?). first thing I ate, just as a snack, when I visited and it was pretty damn satisfying. it'll help mend a broken heart after yesterday's game

enjoy ur time up there lb and rep for the niner empire

Bomb :smokin Good looking out win or lose Niners all day :smokin

Nah my source is a 49er reporter who is at all games and has access to film we dont, not a Seahawks fan on Reddit  . Nice try tho brotha.

So trash talk aside, how was the experience? Real jealous you got to get up there.

Great, beautiful stadium sat in front of a couple (season ticket holders for 28 years). They offered me food and the people behind me bought me a beers :D Fans and players truly feed off each other. Thought there would be a few more 49er fans there ( I was probably 1 of 7 in my section) Can't wait to come back. Seattle kinda reminds me of a cross between SF and DC.

The Fans are soooooo quiet when the Seahawks have the ball.

That's awesome to hear :pimp: , I'll admit I've seen some real DBags in the games I've gone to at the Stick.

One example that I've personally been apart of was my boy who's a Rams fan and I (we make the annual trip to SF for the Rams/Niners game) and the people around us who were 49er fans actually had the nerve to call security and try to get us kicked out because my buddy would stand up and clap when his team made a good play. **** had me furious because he truly wasnt clapping or doing it in anyones face and for the rest of the game there were cops standing by us and anytime he would get excited the cops would tell him to be quiet and/or sit down :smh:

Football seriously has the worst kind of fans.

Yeah this is probably true, them MF'ers are racist as hell too.

But yeah as for my situation I truly felt ashamed to be associated with the "fellow" fans and cops around us that day, that was the game we tied (and the beginning of Kaep's takeover after Alex went out with a concussion). The year before that we went to a game where SF won like 26-0 and in the 4th quarter while we were up by 20 or whatever it was my friend jokingly did a first down hand signal while laughing for what was maybe their 3rd first down of the entire game  and there were fans everywhere screaming some of the nastiest things ever. In an absolute blowout with no more than a couple minutes left with my buddy obviously laughing and joking while doing it. Honestly SF has some of the most hardass fans, not everyone obviously, but like I said I feel ashamed to associate myself with a fanbase that acts like this.

First thing I noticed was the Harbaugh stamp of approval

Coincidentally this happened on the same play LMJ fumbled the KO return...

So why hasn't anyone else mentioned it? I mean, it's not like this one guy is the only person with access to the footage. I've searched all over the Internet and cannot find one claim that the fan was arrested.

Oh dont get it twisted, I dont know if the fan was arrested. But the guy i quoted is exclusively part of the 49ers media, if you read his tweet he clearly says "49ers video shows..." And that could mean maybe considering Bowman might be our best player that our personal team cameras were there following him into the locker room for our footage or montage for our season or something like that.

Goodness, truthfully not making excuses or anything like that but I just read Frank Gore broke his hand early in the game and is getting surgery.

Iupati, Bowman, and Gore all in one game??... Those are quite possibly our 3 best players :smh: :\
