If Dorsett balls tho, TY become expendable?

I'm sure they'd like their Wayne and ___ combo reborn with their franchise QB, but can they afford that, when still not having addressed the Oline or Def properly? :\

Stop, you're playing Madden... Don't make sense or anything... :rolleyes

Brady has played with one top tier WR his entire career. Luck is in that role, you do not need to pay TY top dollar compared to OLine to protect Luck and Defense to not give up 45 points. [/COLOR]

TY is in the 10-12M at best.

Don't let the deals KC and MIA gave out for Maclin/Wallace fool you, those teams had no choice but to overpay those guys.
Isn't that exactly what will happen with TY on the open market?

Depending on where he goes.

If he still wants to play for a contender then he'll have to take less than the 14M he's asking for.

With the cap going up no he won't.

Depends how you define a contender.  In the sense that most true contenders don't spend big in free agency (because they're tight to the cap), then sure.  But any team that needs a WR and has cap space is going to be willing to offer TY big cash.

Exactly as the Dolphins did with Mike Wallace.  "Our missing piece is a downfield threat".  Etc.

Plus TY is better than Mike and a model citizen.

Dez Bryant just got paid after averaging 3 catches and 38 yards a game in the playoffs though.

Ty Hilton produced more in the playoff game vs Cinci last year than Dez did the entire postseason.

I think Dez is better but this is the NFL. One game doesn't define a career.

I agree but man I just dont see it with TY and im a fan. Hope he gets paid but it wont be the Colts doing it I think.

Have no problem with Luck battling when he scrambles. Hes not frail, hes smart and he knows when to chill :lol

I could see the Colts letting TY walk because they have cheaper options but I wouldn't let him.

I was referring to the true contenders, my fault for not being clear. I don't consider teams like KC and MIA true contenders at the moment.

That may be true.  I'm not sure I see any true contender springing big cash for a free agent WR though.  KC and MIA are borderline playoff contenders and those are the teams usually spending in free agency.

TY might not be the prototype receiver but he's a piece that is valuable on any team with a big-armed QB.  I know I hope Paul Richardson can become a poor man's version.
