I'm legit curious.. What have the panthers done to address your oline?

Benjamin caught 2 tds in that game and well he won't be playing..

Sanchez was the QB that game, who is still on the team.. And we had a ton of injuries along the oline last year, our pro bowl center was out along with our intended starting right guard.. And that game was Evan mathis' first game back after missing the previous 7

Cary Williams and Bradley fletcher were our starting cbs last season, so needless to say the bar isn't exactly set that high for this year's group.. And we drafted a cb in the 2nd (and took 3 in the draft)

And we have 1 rookie WR.. And 1 free agent (miles Austin)..

7 of the 10 WRs and TEs we had on the team last year are on the roster.. And as you mentioned we drafted a WR in the 1st
Well, Andrew Norwell was an undrafted rookie we signed last year that played pretty well for the 10 games he played so we're hoping for more from him. Trai Turner played well as a rookie last year, looking for more from him. We drafted Daryl Williams in the 4th round this year. Signed Oher.

So really, not much. Just looking for young guys to improve and the 1-2 vets we have to hold us down. We were banged up along the O-Line last year as well, so health is something we have for now.

There's just a lot to be seen from different groups of your team. I've always liked Bradford. I hope he flourishes in Philly.

TO was great but I remember his last seasons of him dropping a lot of passes. Hit right in the hands and right through them. Seattle didn't even have a WR and he couldn't make the team. TO was never better than Moss.

I was waiting for this.

TO's last three seasons in the league: 2864 yards, 24 touchdowns.
Moss's last three seasons on the league: 2091 yards, 21 touchdowns.

TO was better than Moss in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2006, and 2010.

There's more to football than a player's stats. Emmitt has better stats than Walter Payton, Jim Brown, Barry Sanders and Faulk but Emmitt wasn't better than them.

Moss was the better WR. TO was great as well.

No asterisk Sherlock, there's also more to a players career than their twilight. TO dropped a lot of passes his last few seasons while Randy faded into Bolivia. It happens.

I honestly wonder if TO doesn't get respect because he wasn't putting up Sportscenter highlight reels or something. Or how the media portrayed him. He was an incredible receiver on multiple teams and has the stats to back it up. Sure, he didn't "throw his hand up" or jump over 7 defenders in the end zone for a touchdown, but the guy was great.

Just like how Favre is remembered for sending pics of his wang, retiring/unretiring, whatever the hell those last few years were, and not when he was tearing the league up and winning MVPs.

please elaborate.. especially in comparison to the eagles team that met the panthers last year

and if you want to address the guy that played a role in scoring 2 of the 3 TDs you guys had that day, feel free

Bet Randy could still get 70/1100/10 on the Pats or Colts right now.

GOAT, he's better than Jerry IMO.

lulz. hes not even better than TO let alone jerry.

give me TO over one route moss any day

tell em

If Terrell Owens had a GOAT QB his entire career it's reasonable to believe his numbers would be more absurd than they already are.

Individual talent =/= winning.

Argument is for idiots.

I'm waiting for one of yall to tell me Barry Sanders wasn't one of the if not the best RB ever because his team was trash.
payton, dickerson, brown, emmitt, faulk, ap>>>>>>barry

(afraid to say anything)

DMX is the only one who liked my drawing :(

AP averaged 6 YPC during his MVP season :x

So did Barry in 97'.

did not know that. barry :Nthat

Moss saw triple coverage and sometimes still beat it. :lol

Triple coverage!

Stats. Ha.

moss took plays off and hid in his helmet with physical dbs. but hey, triple coverage though.

moss was more talented but TO was the better player

AP is top 5, barry has the record for most carries with negative yards

barry has the record but those lions teams were give the ball to barry and let him work so its expected.

It's Barry and Barry only.

Barry Sanders had more than 2000 yards from scrimmage twice.
Marshall Faulk had more than 2000 yards from scrimmage four times.

Barry Sanders never had 20 touchdowns in a season.
Marshall Faulk had more than 20 touchdowns in a season twice.

Barry Sanders never caught more than 48 passes in a season.
Marshall Faulk caught more than 48 passes in a season 9 times.

Barry Sanders ended his career with 18190 yards from scrimmage.
Marshall Faulk ended his career with 19154 yards from scrimmage.

Barry Sanders ended his career with 109 touchdowns.
Marshall Faulk ended his career with 136 touchdowns.

It's not "Barry and Barry only" by any means. Best pure runner of all time? Barry. Best all-purpose RB of all time? Give me Faulk 10 times out of 10.

great breakdown. barry was a pure runner. faulk was a hybrid rb/receiver. we were spoiled to see a player have the run intelligence and receiving intelligence that could switch skills at the snap of a finger. dude was a beast.

Solid comeback Ches, +1.

I was talking about pure running, not all purpose so you coulda just saved all that typing. :lol

All you just proved was that Faulk was a better receiver/all around player not a better RB.

If that's the case Moss should be better than Rice off top because he's thrown for more yards/TD's and caught an interception. :lol

I think more than anything it just proves that Faulk perhaps played with better teammates, better systems and better coaches etc

That's also true but I'm not even going to get into that.

He's just not a better RB than Barry, better reciever that played the RB position? Sure.

Receiving as a RB = throwing passes as a WR.

Got it.

Nobody has ever been considered the best RB because of their receiving skills and you know it. :lol

Notice none of those stats you posted including rushing.

There is more to being a RB than strictly rushing. Like I said.
