The point is...it's not an old team on its last legs. They have a roster full of young talent that *should* be here after Brady is gone. As long as the program and system remains in place, they won't have the complete drop off you originally talked about.

Not one time in any of my posts have I mentioned that they'll win a championship without him. Not. one. time. Go and re-read if you have to. Never said it or even hinted it.

Once he's gone, there's obviously a natural drop off. It shouldn't be as much as you think it is though. That's why I brought up the team's age.

Average age of 25.2 with a 37 year old leading them last season. Since I gotta spell it out, it means that 37 year old skews the data in the wrong direction because it's the youngest team to EVER win.  

Look at your NY Jets. League average QB with a roster full of talent on both sides of the ball. 10-6. Just barely missed the playoffs. That's competitive.

The Vikings snatched the division away from the Packers in the last game of the season. Then they lost the following week in the playoff opener. That's competitive.

Competitive =/= guaranteed SB contender.

Maybe we do need to ban PatsTalk forever.

I live by Levi's. My work is by Levi's. They were renting out the parking lot at work for stadium parking. If you want free parking just say you work in one of the buildings and you save $60.
