I'm saying. People really gon act like a large part of this country doesn't hate confident black athletes. It was just 2 years ago Richard Sherman was called every name in the book for being hyped up in a interview.

saying anyone under 25 is rooting for cam is a general assumption. I saw a plethora of tweets yesterday from people my age saying he was a thug or classless. 

Yeah, my roommate is in that crowd who just dont like him:
- before it was cam isn't that good
- now since hes gotten that good, its that he just doesn't rock with cam like that.

But his guy is still RG3

These same news stations that were dabbing will defend the killing of unarmed black men by the police, so miss me with that.

Like I said we'll have to disagree. I know some folks in here get real uncomfortable/defensive when race is brought up.

I personally dont get the hate for Cam by some people. His game is awesome, he behaves himself off the field and is a likeable person.

Only complaint about him is the celebrating first downs constantly. End zone celebrations, I am all for it. Every time you get a first? Nah. Wish he wouldnt do that because that gets the opponents fired up and you never know when they may try and take a shot at you.

there is a part of "middle america" who dislikes Cam and it's obviously because he is black but people tend to focus on those types because they know when they say **** it causes them to be noticed the most

mannn look here. You just have to search the right buzzwords. Thug isn't the word anymore because we've caught on to that one. Seems like 'humility' is the word to use right now. 

Cam got __'s from across the pond mad at him 

. I like Lynch but these are the same seattle fans that loved it when he was telling opposing players and fans to hold his D.

some of these people i'm assuming are under 25 when I looked at their profiles. But looks can be deceiving.

I don't get the whole humility aspect.. Brady and Gronk can spike balls after they score, rodgers has his championship belt, JJ watt celebrates after his sacks,  Kelce dabbing, Drew stanton and Palmer telling the crowd to suck it 

All of it seems like fun and games.. until Cam Newton wants to celebrate. Hell, AB celebrates his *** off after every big play or TD but nobody is complaining on his behalf. It's because Cam is the spotlight of the panthers, the leader of the team. He's the unapologetic black man, in your face during the games, and white america hates that, they want to see him fail. The man doesn't owe sports fans a bit of humility and that's the damn truth.

im not particularly a fan of cam newton because his attitude seems disingenuous to me.

IMO he reminds me a lot of lebron and i like lebron as a player, as a person he IS disingenuous to me too. 

i say IS with lebron i have personal situations for me to know how he truly is...

i cant deny Cams outstanding athletic ability or the fact he has progressed over time to earn elite player status.

but yea im not a fan of cam newton it has nothing to do with anything otherwise

i guess the same way people dont like Brady, but thats acceptable on NT lol, disliking Cam isnt.
