Ahhhh ****, my brain must still be on Larry not making it to the big game.We don't roster a Fitzgerald, bruh.
I'm still not over the Hulkster.
That **** cut me to my core.
Lou Holtz just dabbed....

i wish we could pry Rivers or Stafford away from their incompetent organizationsWe don't roster a Fitzgerald, bruhThis is Contract Negotiations 101 bro. Both sides definitely want each other. But there's a price they have to meet at, and it's all about getting as close as possible while trying to get a W for your side.Eh I wouldn't say they are cringing. Both sides mutually want one another; while the report did come out I think the "Jets are intrigued on his desire to play here" part is bogus. At least I hope it is.
Manish Mehta is a hack, but he's got real sources directly and non-directly involved with the team. He's just doing what reporters gotta do for teams they cover in order to get paid back at a later date. This is one of those, "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" type stories.
Who knows if Kaep really wants the Jets or vice versa? Remains to be seen. What I'm confident about though is the Jets brass absolutely want that story floating out there since they're about to enter contract negotiations with the incumbent QB.
So when my man B-Marsh makes "headlines" by knocking it down and sticking up for his guy...it's not exactly beneficial to the Jets side for leverage. Not that I care too much anyway, I hope y'all max the **** out of Fitzgerald for the future..
But no, I hear ya all the way. I just think even once the season concluded, bringing back Fitz was a priority. You said as well that this team is built to win now. Obviously you look to improve in any position, and if there was a QB out there that was better than Fitz, I'm all for it. But the chemistry he has with the current roster, it's hard to turn away from that. Week 17 aside, this team was clicking. Any other year and 10-6 is an earned playoff spot. Just ****** luck that this wasn't one of those seasons.

Him and HBK are the biggest politicians in pro-wrestling history...next to Hulk HoganWord to Hawk from the Road Warriors. I hear Triple H is a big douche as well

The guy kept a lot of wrestlers out of the spotlight because he thought he was the "MAN"... he had a lot of animosity against The Rock for years
Don't tell that to Shane Helms...HBK changed a lot when he came back in 2002
Jim Ross has said numerous times in interviews that many fans would be surprised about certain wrestlers from the past having warped views on different cultures/ethnicities...Damn man, so many of these wrestlers from back when I used to watch end up turning out to be ********.
Theres never been a black wwe champion. part of the reason why I stopped watching.
dudes like booker T, shelton benjamin, mark henry, hell even bobby lashley should've had that gold around their waist.
They usually give black wrestlers some stereotypical gimmick like the godfather, kamala, cryme tyme, etc.

Vince wanted Lashley to be the face of the WWE but I'm not sure what happened there
for me, no. He started out his wrestling career playing to his samoan roots.. nothing wrong with that, but it was always made known that he was samoan when he was on top. He even told Triple H and HBK that his moms slept with a white man.The Rock doesn't count?Theres never been a black wwe champion. part of the reason why I stopped watching.

http://www.complex.com/sports/2015/07/wwe-racism/the-rockAhmed Johnson recalled a disturbing incident backstage; he saw The Rock talking with members of D-Generation X, and Johnson claimed that The Rock was denying his black heritage. Rock is half-black and half-Samoan, but he allegedly told DX that his mother slept with a white man, which is how he was conceived. One can only imagine the locker room atmosphere backstage, if The Rock felt the need to lie about his ethnic roots.
