Oh no doubt. I'm hoping it's not going to come down to Fitz leaving and the staff thinking "Well, Geno sat a whole season and was able to learn some more, third times a charm perhaps?" and give him the keys again.

Geno cannot start for this Jets team if they want to progress and move forward.

Agreed on all fronts. Like I mentioned, Forte, Bilal and a drafted RB (Elliott ideally, others are possible and more probable), is solid going into Week 1.

And like you had mentioned earlier tonight in this thread or the Jets, not paying Mo last summer in comparison to what Vernon got from the Giants today screwed ourselves there. Especially if Mo has another great year.
