Losing Fitz is the furthest thing from fine. It'll put us in such a deep hole.

However, they can't afford to overpay him at the price he is looking for. It's just not realistic for them to spend that kind of money nor is he really warranted of it.

He had such an amazing season, broke Jets records and then threw them out of the playoffs. He's not as important as people think.

Only on NT is a QB that has had multiple knee surgeries, a serious ankle injury, multiple concussions, problems with teammates and the coaching staff better than a QB that was one play away from winning a SB and one play away from going the following year. Would love to see everyone's posts about him during those two years. Would be night and day.

They're saying Broncos are going hard after Kaep, so are two other teams. I'm thinking the Jets and who else? Don't think they would be willing to trade him to the Rams even though the SF brass is stupid enough.

Might have to overpay that guy. Denver just won it with the cadaver of Peyton Manning and 8 starts from Brock.


I bet if the offers are competitive Fitzy is going to be looking at Denver as somewhere he could really make a run for a title.
