until we get an actual QB I'm not jumping to any conclusions on chip..

the QBs he has had: foles, sanchez, vick, Bradford and matt barkley

47 unbelievable Antonio Brown stats


King of the Yard(s)

Only one other receiver has ever racked up more receiving yards — 1,141 — in the first 10 games of an NFL season (1). Rams receiver Isaac Bruce had 1,183 yards 10 games into the 1995 season. He finished with 1,781 yards that year. Brown, despite working through three different quarterbacks in those 10 games (2), is on pace for 1,826 (3).

That would mark the third consecutive season Brown has broken the Steelers’ single-season receiving record (4). His 1,499 yards in 2013 topped Yancey Thigpen’s 1,398 (5), then he topped that with 1,698 last year (6).

The 1,698 yard mark Brown put up was the sixth-highest in NFL history (7).

His 1,141 receiving yards this season is the 15th-most in franchise history (8), and the 14 players ahead of him on that last all played 16 games (9).

Brown is averaging 114.1 yards a game (10), a full eight yards more than his 106.1 yards per game last year (11), which is the franchise record (12).


Hands of Glue

Brown’s 129 catches last season set a new franchise mark (13), and was the second-highest total in NFL history (14). He trailed only Colts receiver Marvin Harison’s 143 catches in 2002. Harrison never reached 100 catches again in his career. Brown is on pace for 126 catches this season (15).

He’s catching an average of 7.9 passes per game (16), which is just shy of his franchise-record 8.1 catches per game from last season (17). Hines Ward grabbed seven passes a game in 2002, but with Brown’s 6.9 catches a game in 2013 (18), he has three of the top four spots in franchise history in that category (19).

Of the 413 players who have logged a catch this year, only 80 receivers have more than 27 through Week 10. That’s Brown’s total in Weeks 9 and 10 combined (20).

He’s averaging 7.6 catches a game since 2013 (21). At 469 career catches through Week 10 of the 2015 season (22), and considering the pace he’s been on since 2013, Brown would need to play at that pace for another 143 games to break Jerry Rice’s career receptions record of 1,549 (23). He’d need another 70 games to break Ward’s franchise-record 1,000 receptions (24).

Brown has 469 career receptions, putting him 21st among active players (25). No player in the top 20 is under 30 years of age (26) — and he’s 27.

At the pace he’s on, he’s likely to pass Reggie Bush (470) and Jerricho Cotchery (500) to move to 19th overall among active players (27), and has an outside chance of catching Greg Olsen (510) and Vincent Jackson (513) to move to 17th overall by the season’s end (28).

Only six other players have caught 17 or more passes in a single NFL game like Brown did in Week 9 against the Raiders (29). Brown had 284 yards in that game (30), one better than Terrell Owens’s 283 yards on 20 catches in 2000. Brown’s 16.7 yards per catch is two and a half yards better than T.O’s 14.2 (31).

Football grading site Pro Football Focus gave Brown an 8.8 mark for that game (32), the highest the site has ever given a receiver (33). It’s been posting grades since 2007.


Running Dominating After the Catch

Brown leads all NFL wide receivers with 486 yards after the catch this season (34), through Week 10. He averages 43.1 yards after the catch a game (35), which is approximately 1/3 of his yards per game (36). Chargers running back Danny Woodhead leads the NFL with 54 YAC per game. He averages 57.3 receiving yards per game.


Don’t Listen to the Hype

Brown was the 195th player taken in the 2010 NFL Draft (37). There were 22 receivers taken ahead of him (38), but he leads all of them in receiving yards through Week 10 of this season (39).

A scouting service declared Brown the 37th best receiver in that draft, and suggested his highest long-term value is as a return man.

In 2011, Brown became the first player ever to gain 1,000 receiving and return yards (40). He earned his first Pro Bowl berth that year (41). He’s since been taken on kick return duties, but his 151 career punt returns are the third-most in franchise history (42), and his 9.6 yards per return are the second-most ever for a Steelers player who returned 100 or more punts (43). Hall of Famer Rod Woodson had 9.2 yards a return, and two punt return touchdowns. Brown has three punt return touchdowns (44).


Who’s Got Next?

Brown has played a total of 33 games against the six teams remaining on the Steelers’ schedule — Seattle, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Denver, Baltimore and Cleveland — and he has 181 catches for 2,602 yards and 14 touchdowns (45). Over one season, that would be 88 catches for 1,262 yards and a shade lower than seven touchdowns. Last season, he would have ranked eighth, 12th and 25th in the NFL in receptions, yards and touchdowns, respectively (46). But Indianapolis, Baltimore and Cleveland rank 28th, 26th and 25th, respectively, in pass defense. When Ben Roethlisberger was under center for the Steelers against Cincinnati in Week 8 and Cleveland in Week 10, Brown averaged eight catches and 93 yards (47.)

I never saw that coming... No doubt about it he's the best WR right now... Not only does he do stupid numbers, he's as consistent as I've seen with it...

Love watching dude play man... I'm very high on AB..
 
I'll always hate AB84 for that 3rd down grab against the Jets in the 2010 AFCCG :frown: but he is so beast.
