Fields may have just signed his death certificate throwing shots at the coaching. Even if he’s right they won’t forget and if the Bears continue to lose the HC will repay the favor by targeting a QB in the draft or via trade. In these situations it’s either a coach or QB that has to go and Fields has already planted his flag that he doesn’t like the playcalling. If the Bears end up at the bottom of the division it’s a wrap.

Mac Jones is probably done too if the Pats finish behind the Jets in their division.

Vikings needed another option in the backfield rotation, may well not work out and he’s gone after the year, but the only thing this hurts is Mattison’s workload.

All we did was swap late-round picks in 2026, and he’s only owed $1.4M this year and then his contract’s up. Any criticism of the deal is not realizing we basically get to take a chance for no price.

Hopefully the O-line creates some holes even though Mattison has the vision of Stevie Wonder.
