I have watched the Final 4 minutes 3 times now...........
These dumb ****s literally played 7 backups on defense the final two drives, for no damn reason.
Holland, Baker, Philips were out, that's whatever. But they pulled Elliott (who'd been banged up earlier) so now they had TWO backup Safeties. Van Ginkel came out, Wilkins came out, then Chubb came out.......
But the game wasn't over. They let Tenn go down the field in under two minutes without using a Timeout.
They got the score and the stop before the damn two minute warning. Not only did they not need the 4:34, they barely needed 2:34.
Oline backups were getting cooked in pass pro, so with the ball, and running it well......they leave Tyreek off the field, putting all the Titans up for the run. Then on 3rd putting Tyreek in, which.......fairly clearly tells them what they planned on doing.
Then needing to get down the field (which they have done ALL SEASON LONG).......they throw sideways.
Sideways.
57 minutes, up two TD's, the Titans hadn't done jack **** all night, and he pulls pretty much everybody thinking it was over. X and Ramsey were on the field, and the ball never went near them. (Why would it?)
Prevent defense prevents you from winning. For some reason (I don't understand) we felt the need to remind the world about it?????
3 more minutes man. Play them 3 more minutes and then you can let them all rest tomorrow. What an absolute stupid and costly thing to learn. For no reason. He started the game without 5 starters and figured pulling more late wouldn't catch up to him? Such an unbelievably stupid approach.
If you want to prevent defense, shouldn't you, iono, guard the sidelines then and keep the ****ing clock running, or force them to burn their timeouts? Letting them chunk play you AND get out of bounds over and over while you rest multiple guys is one helluva way to call a game.
And then on offense go away from your very strength all season long.

feel like it's the norm and if you don't have elite pass rushers (or they're out of the game), you're cooked. it's the whole "bend and hope they make an error having to snap the ball 10 times v 3" mentality. we traditionally have played that style A TON, not just at the end of games/halves. then once the field is shrunk we can play with a bit more aggressiveness. but it's frustrating to see a defense shut a team down all game only to fall into a prevent suddenly and give up easy points. happens way too often it seems

giants defense was bad bad first 5 weeks of season allowing 30 points per game. that doesnt Impact offense? controlling the clock? getting 1 TO in 5 games?
now we are forcing 3.3 TOs per game over last 3 - how many times giving the offense short field ? momentum?

Ok you said the first 5 weeks they were bad, Daniel Jones went down for good against the Raiders (week 9). Up until that point how did the offense look? yeah the defense can do all that but what’s it gonna get you when the offense can’t score? Look at the Jets
And you know on NT we live in the moment and give hot takes. No one is really saying Devito the next great face of the league.
So you’re arguing my initial post of the offense has come alive since he took over by saying no it’s actually the defense doing majority of the leg work, the offense isn’t much of anything

I really hope people don’t try ro spin it this way. Al Michaels has been AWFUL all season, and longer than that to be honest. He didn’t get the boot because he said he wasn’t going to talk about taylor swift 2 Months ago. He got demoted for calls like this.
One of the craziest comebacks in playoff history. And he gave us this.
