7 yard run on first down negated by a bogus penalty
Stops the clock and saves the Lions a timeout
Pushes the Cowboys from the Lions 22yd line back to the Lions 44yd line
Cowboys went from 2nd and 3 to 1st and 25

But yeah it wasn’t a factor in deciding the game

I know you’re fully dug in here on this, but the lions didn’t have to use a timeout for the bogus penalty. The clocked stopped because of the two minute warning. That’s why McCarthy choosing that bomb pass on 2nd down was so stupid. I was even wondering if the lions were going to decline the bogus tripping penalty for the very reason that it’d be second down, and they still had two time outs to stop the clock after the two minute warning.
