I think Payton had a fair criticism of Russ regarding his off the field endeavors. He and Ciara want to make their mark in the Denver community. Absolutely nothing wrong with leaving a legacy off the field. But it appeared Russ was moving more like a politician than a QB.

I don’t see Pittsburgh opening its arms to Russ like that. They want him to win games. Everything else is secondary.
