It's been a few weeks, but since we're in the middle of the season, it's time to update...
The OFFICIAL NT NFL Head Coach Hot Seat™
HE GONE!
Josh McDaniels (Raiders) - Never should've been hired in the first place.
The Hottest of Seats:
Brian Daboll (Giants) - No longer the worst team in the NFL, but the Giants still suck. With or without Daniel Jones.
Jonathan Gannon (Cardinals) - Thanks for beating the Cowboys in Week 3.
Frank Reich (Panthers) - Rookie QB or not, Reich ain't it.
Matt Eberflus (Bears) - The Bears no longer are the worst team in the NFL. They're still trash though.
The Rest:
Todd Bowles (Buccaneers) - Four losses in a row have Bowles' future in the toilet.
Sean Payton (Broncos) - Beating the Chiefs for the first time in eight years means his seat has cooled.
Mike Vrabel (Titans) - Will Levis may save Vrabel his job.
Sean McVay (Rams) - 3-6, so he's now on the list.
Bill Belichick (Patriots) - The Pats may be 2-7, but Belicheat will never get fired, and he will stay on this list anyway.
Isn’t this illegal contact or illegal use of hands … something
I forgot he existed lol
Still not a catch
Vrabel: “I just feel like with my 1910s mindset of offensive football he can hand the ball off better than Tannehill. We may throw a few passes here and there, but on key third downs we will continue to hand it off to our awful backup RB”
dont try to talk yourself out of the inevitableheard something that was interesting and spot on as it relates to Vrabel being hired in NE. being a defensive minded HC, he's always going to need a good OC to be successful. but in today's NFL, any OC that shows an ounce of promise quickly gets a HC gig (for the most part). so in hiring Vrabel, you're going to potentially be in a constant OC carousel, which is terrible for QB development and offensive stability. it's almost better to have an offensive minded HC in today's NFL
It’s more about philosophy…A defensive coach can keep the offense going if they hire OC’s that fit a modern scheme that makes sense, that way you can plug and play different players and coaches…Vrabel isn’t up to speed on that tho so him in NE will just be Mac handing the ball of 33 times a game up the middleheard something that was interesting and spot on as it relates to Vrabel being hired in NE. being a defensive minded HC, he's always going to need a good OC to be successful. but in today's NFL, any OC that shows an ounce of promise quickly gets a HC gig (for the most part). so in hiring Vrabel, you're going to potentially be in a constant OC carousel, which is terrible for QB development and offensive stability. it's almost better to have an offensive minded HC in today's NFL

And the most important thing for a defensive minded coach is finding a QB of course
