Brandon Staley was such a bad hire. In terms of resume, Staley was not qualified to be an NFL HC at all. He only had 4 years coaching at the NFL level and the rest of his experience was with small college schools. What we are seeing should not be a surprise...the Chargers really blew it and probably wasted Herbert's career. He could be damaged goods at this point
