this is how nike does it. they will continue to raise prices until people stop paying retail for their stuff. i love air maxes, but i refuse to pay nike's outrageous retail prices for their shoes. if they can't be had for $100 or less, it wasn't meant to be.

Any big named shoe is always $199 plus tax here in Canada ... so you end up paying around $225 without any discounts. These are not worth the $200 bucks even with the discount.

Eh, in most cases I agree.  But Nikes cost really did go up alot recently.

I dont usually go into threads and bash a shoe, but got damn, this shoe is just ugly. And for 175? LOL!!!!!!!!!!

AM 09 was great
AM 10 wasnt the greatest looking shoe, but still looked decent
AM 11 improved from the 10 and was nice looking

AM 12 Just atrocious
