I have the same issue with these. It's even worse with the Jordan 12's for me.
Sounds like you've got either flat feet or a wide midfoot.

Maybe? But I've never needed a wide on a single shoe in my life and feet are far from flat. I'm an ON cloud wearing office Millennial, those shoes have high arches and don't bother me. I remember the talk about the heel slip a lot on these (they do) but I've never experienced anything like this feeling in a shoe. 12s fit fine. Its so weird.
