Bruh you just stated the NYC colorway was a separate style code than the NYK dunk more uptempo colorway. I thought that the colorway for NYC was announced via CHI, ATL, and NYC was that same shoe.

NVM. I'm an idiot. I saw NYC more uptempo and automatically thought they were the NYK dunk insole ones.

I just looked back and the NYC ones are grey, navy, and white (no orange). I just slapped myself and yes, that does sound like a NYY colorway.

EDIT: In a way, NY is getting two NY represented colorways lol, even though one is disrespectful LMAO

I see where peeps are coming from. The shoe had more of a prestige when there was less cws released. Now there more prone to discounts and seem very saturated. Which is fine, it shows people really like this shoe. It's just been a while. I remember as a child in elementary school I would see so many kids and adults rocking uptempos. And they almost disappeared And now it's coming back, I'm seeing alot of people wearing them again. I just felt more special wearing them when I knew no one else had em hahah. The sups helped resurge this model for sho.

dont waste your breath. only somebody immature would say some dumb ish like that. hes gonna dig himself into a deeper hole if he even attempts to explain/justify what he said. theres valid no justification for that statement. i will safely assume hes also the type to say "quit acting/dressing black" and think thats ok too.

As for the saturation.. I think it has validity. If they make a million colorways, you almost get tired of seeing the shoe in a way.. it's loses a bit of that magic and mystique. I wouldnt say they are ruined but it humbles the shoe down a lot. This can easily be seen with what happened to foamposites.

I still agree with

CleanestNdaCity though.. I buy which ones I like and keep it pushing.

I'm in the don't mind them dropping additional cws camp. Just buy what you like (on disco of course) and keep it moving. I love this sneaker so to me keep the cws coming!

All of this.

I'll never understand getting mad at Nike or adidas or any other shoe company for dropping multiple colorways of a shoe.

Having options will always be a good thing.

If things were reversed, people would be complaining about Nike being stingy with the cws.
