Congrats man! I know you probably had to off like 20 pairs, just to obtain these! It's a cringeworthy shame, but expected for **** like this. Anyways, I already know they're going straight to feet!!!

Pretty much smh. Off'd my Black Statics and some like 1-2 other kicks to get them and figured I appreciated these a lot more in the long run. I wasn't happy about it but we know what these mean. I can't wait for the right time to rock them this year!! Thanks bro!! S/O

Hey guys, I lucky enough to receive the pack last week. I'm telling you: they did a great job on these (and I almost strictly collect '85s). They're awesome. They will never match the originals; however, these are much better than what we typically see. As an OG head, I give full approval on this release. The materials on the Ship is much softer than on the AJ1. It feels like butter.
I've been traveling for work, so I haven't had time to take any good photos. I'll snap some over the next few days compared to an OG1. I don't have any Ships to compare to. Check out @pappadimeat on IG to see this colorway in OG DS form with box (retail tooling, which has already been discussed in this thread).

If you notice, they did the toebox better on this particular AJ 1. I agree with that guy.Im gonna take this guys word over

Anybody got a high quality scan of the NBA letter that came with some of the pairs that they'd be willing to share? I'd love to make a shirt with it on the front.

No, I was talking about the original "banned" letter from the NBA to Jordan/Nike. I think one Italian store's versions came with a repro copy of that letter in their packaging.
