there's no chance they'll sell them for $1500 now knowing all the hype that came with the solars and platinums i'm sure all the "mom & pop" stores are jacking up the prices to astronomical figures when/if they release.

I went by myself today

A friend who drops big cash on sneakers got a call from another shop this afternoon

When both stores do decide to sell if there not doing so already expect a price of $2500 to $3000

Another shop is selling pairs to select people for around the same price

independent mom and pop stores are willing to sit on there stock for 2 reasons

Current resell & all the crap nike makes the stores take

These shops dont forget are paying nike 53 percent of the box price

Dont forget these shops get about 18 pairs to 20 pairs and if people paid $1600.00 last june why not charge more now with the high resell of the last 2 yeezys


I know people who pair $1600 for the black/pinks at the same stores last year

So i guess I was not thinking of these shop owners greed

Another thing even with these outrageous prices shops are being carefull on who they sell to like never before

people should really go into these shops.. buy those shoes and ask for a receipt.  or better yet, record the whole damn transaction and blackmail the store into selling em for retail or tell nike.

U would think they would charge slightly less than current resale value just to get rid of their stock and minimize the risk of getting caught by nike. These guys want top dollar and then some. I'm sure there's a mom and pop though that'll have somewhat reasonable price either cuz the owner needs quick cash or some other reason

kith did a "raffle" last time and charged $500 to whoever won. Westnyc charged 700 if u won their raffle. Far cry from their fcfs they did in 09 for their y1s

yeah other than hoh/nike stores most shops will not be charging retail. Even those stores will try to charge extra on some shady ****. I'm fine with 1500 but 3 stacks is too rich for my blood.
