2 things.

1. To the dude who mentioned the Zens on Ebay for over 1k.... they are easy to spot Fakes, someone is buying fake Yeezy's there, report his @@%.

2. The scales looking more like scales is cool, and as dude in the video even eluded too.... they knew this, it was meant to happen. I dig it personally.These Y2's will look better with age.
 
For the cracking midsole alone, I wouldn't pay more than double retail. Not that I was thinking about paying over $1000 anyway...

It's must sloppys first time dealing with something like that. My girl has a few Fendi python bags and the scales fold back. That's just how it is. On the real tho, video could of been cut down to about 2 minutes considering all he did was repeat himself

As far as that video on one week of wear I actually dont mind it at all, kind of like the look it gives to the shoe. Now that someone brought it up I can actually recall people in the previous thread "complaining" that Ye's pairs looked like the scales were more defined; they most likely only looked like that because he was rocking them so much. Now if it got to a point where the scales started falling off then we have a problem.
 
everyday i look at completed listings on my size 12 on feebay... doesn't look like the prices have dropped at all during the last week...

They have not really dropped in demand the last week.
 
man im so upset with all the complaining and wanting to trade going on i just wanted 1 pair of any of the 5 released and i havent even seen a real pair in person let alone owned a pair.

all of this...well except I'm more disappointed than upset. That vid back there make me want the blacks even more now...some shoes look doper to me when they're sorta worn, I think these might be one of em.

So knowing that the scales pop out, could you guys still buy worn pairs for $1000+?  The reason I like the added detail of the scales popping out with wear is because it gives the shoe a more personal touch.  Kinda like the fade on selvedge denim.  I might be over-thinking it since I don't have a pair

Ive been watching a lot of yeezys in my size on ebay. I see listings end for a high price and then a couple days later get relisted.

So im wondering if some of these people are actually paying.

I think the scales 'peeling' back is a dope look. And sure does explain why Ye's looked so much more defined.

I'm more concerned with the creasing than anything else.
 
majority of ebay auctions are being won by shill bidders who aren't paying... ebay has become the place to set the market price... sheep just follow


wait until xmas time... people will start selling these off and the only people buying them will be the people that want to wear them

From my experience selling Galaxy's on eBay, they're not paying. I had 3 people flake on the first pair I eventually sold, people with good feedback and all. I think people we're winning auctions on purpose to screw the seller over in the beginning stages when the demand was high.

... All the complaining about they're too expensive, resellers this, the "game's" messed up now. People are out here complaining about how they've bought into commercialism and why it's not fair, then go and get the sneakers (the ones they were probably on the front line talking about how they wouldn't pay a dollar over retail for but caved in and bought off eBay) and say they won't and you shouldn't WEAR them everyday?

I guess I've crossed over. Guess I'm on the "other side" now. Because that video, that's probably the biggest joke in this entire thread, including the previous thread with all its shenanigans, including everyone constantly going at Proto (when dude is just trying to use HIS MONEY to buy some sneakers HE LIKES), all of it... reminds me of how all the guys talk salty about the guy who ends up with the prettiest girl in school.

Straight up. I LOVE my Solars. Up there with blk/red 1's and blk/red 6's (either infrared or varsity, jumpman or NIKE AIR) as my 3 favorite shoes ever. I have the Mags... this is the true future in terms of design and practicality for sneakers. The Mag is awesome for nostalgia... but let's be real. THIS is what Marty would be wearing in 2015.

To all the guys still looking, if you can, I'd buy them. Worth every penny. Plan to wear them as much as possible and get another pair (or 2) before summer ends.
