For what its worth, I wanna say last wednesday, I was told from a friend I've met through camps at Cherry Hill HOH that a random drop is happening.
So basically shoes on the shelf in the am and customers coming in to a surprise.
I have no idea how valid but I did hear it.
Also talked to a manager at a HOH that said when rumors initially started he heard they were getting them but isn't quite sure it will happen anymore.

The idea of a random drop is pointless imo.
Bots might not be running 24/7, but I assume they're up and going for the majority of the time?
And an in-store drop wouldn't really work either because as a rumored release date nears, camping will ensue and those there (specifically with intent to resell) will clear the shelves right when doors open.
Oh well. I'll just wait on word from Nike. Hopefully it comes sooner rather than later.

I agree if a random drop were just rumor and it happened it would go well but if there is a random drop and store employees know everyone would tip off friends and family and it would spread like crazy. Especially with how shady these stores are nowadays.

They look amazing. I didn't care about these until the actual real pairs started surfacing online. Could barely make out the detailing with random images of Kanye wearing them in dark stage performances.

I will say this out of the 8 places I've followed up with via email that definitely got the Y2's the response I get is "doesn't look like we're getting them" ..everybody is in the dark seems like..these were just mom and pops btw
