*OFFICIAL* NIKE LEBRON 15

Is anyone else absolutely done with these 1 piece uppers? Do the laces even do anything?

The problem with fabric-uppers is that they stretch with multiple uses so the laces aren't really there for lockdown but rather to tighten the upper. This (unfortunately) is normal with running shoes that have historically been fabric based and you're seeing it on basketball product too.

What has?

What happens at times when a shoe's released is many will hate it. They will say how ugly and wack it is but then they'll see a couple of colors and then that once ugly shoe is now desirable.

So the shoe that was ugly before, the person ends up liking the shoe and ends up with at least 3 pairs.

I like them less for playing basketball (the reason I buy basketball shoes) the more I see them. I am looking forward to the performance review to see these actually work on court.

Man I'm really diggin this shoe. Some of y'all are tough critics. I'm excited that the Lebron line is going back to more of a lifestyle look. We probably haven't had that since the 9s maybe 10.
Wrong. The 9s and 10s weren't made to look lifestyle. They were good looking basketball shoes that people wore casually. Big difference.

Featured last night for the first time, the LEBRON 15 is the most technically advanced shoe of LeBron James’ career. The shoe, designed by Jason Petrie, features evolved Flyknit construction and an advanced cushioning system — both articulated for the greatest player in the world.

“This is my favorite shoe to date,” says James. “The performance benefits and sophisticated look make this shoe a force on and off the court.”

The shoe’s key innovations include a next-generation Flyknit construction that provides strategic stretch, a locked-in fit and durability. Underfoot is a fully articulated cushioning system that combines Max Air and Zoom Air units, while a full-bootie construction offers a secure, one-to-one fit.

“The number-one thing people should know about the LEBRON 15 is that this new Nike Flyknit is something that's never been done in a performance shoe,” notes James. “It looks great, too. Since Jason and I started working on the LEBRON VII, we have always talked about how we not only want to have the top, top, top notch in performance, we want style, as well. We have a desire to create shoes that makes all people feel good when they put it on.”

More info on the LEBRON 15 will be available in the coming weeks.

Need to see more colorways. It's more of a dress shoe than a basketball shoe so far.
