try giving them a call and they might credit the difference back to you.

Quick question thought about RRS.

This was my first time ordering from them and I purchased the VIP to get the discount. So my question is do I have to order another VIP when I make a purchase from them or do I keep my VIP? It never asked me to create account when ordering and I previously never had a RRS account. I'm just wondering how this works in case I want to order again from them in the future.

Nike shifted from using a yarn-based flyknit to a now recycled-polyester based knit.

They melt down old plastic water bottles that have been cleaned & shredded which creates strands of polyester

This reduces the waste used in production significantly (I believe up to 65%). They have already diverted over 2 billion waterbottles from landfills around the country & have reduced waste by 2 million pounds since 2012
When did that happen?

Only for the tongues or for the entire "body" ?

you're VIP status is good for a year.

For everything I believe. As of 2016 Nike has finally fully-transitioned from the yarn base to the full-polyester base. I'm sure this has something to do with the newer flyknits and the stretchy tongue

Oh that's pretty fresh. Thanks for the info fam. Repped.

just fyi, they will automatically bill you for VIP next year unless you state otherwise to them before the year expires.  and it will be more than 1.99.   not a big deal, but just letting you know of course.

Great to know this as well. Can I email them before the year ends that I will not continue my VIP with them or do I just call?

Has anyone ever really gotten their order shipped within 2 hours from Rrs ?
Yes I have. Usually when I order from them in the afternoon and not on a release day. Plus the company they used to ship "OnTrac" is super fast especially in California. Believe it was under 2 days?
I ordered VIP and send something to my uncles house in LA....  it took them three days to ship it, and it took another 4 days to go from san diego to la.  it was ridiculous.

Give them a call.. But the renewal fee is i believe about 24.xx. Which isn't that big of a deal if you order often from them.

Forsure, thanks for the info as well fam. I probably won't order anything else from except racers so I'll just cancel it once the year is up next year.

I thought I was going crazy comparing the old and new. I knew it felt a little different.

The thing I don't like about the new knit is that it is a bit stiff, and if they don't glue the midsole to the knit correctly, it snaps back and forth in the toe area when you walk. It takes a while for that to eventually soften up.

I think in the past, somebody was saying the knit switched on the re-release of the BWb.

Anybody know a good way of cleaning the racers?  Just picked these up and want to bring some life back to them.
remove insoles, and laces, put it in a pillow case and throw it in the washing machine. let them air dry to not put in the dryer.

Honestly I would never throw them in the washing machine, however everyone has different preferences.

A quick Google search does wonders http://www.complex.com/sneakers/2014/01/clean-nike-flyknits

OR if you wanna go the Jason Markk route Sole Collector posted something a while back (I tried to send the link but NT won't allow it as if Sole Collector is a bad word lol)

I use this stuff:

the stuff works like a champion.  I use the hard bristle brush that is included on the top of the container on the midsole and such, and it gets a lot of the stains off the midsole very quickly.  Then I use cool water and a toothbrush and clean the other parts of the shoe.  I have some old sonicate heads that I use for it.  Many have just tossed them in the washing machine, but my washing machine has eaten many of my clothes so I worry about it.  There is more control when you clean them by hand.
