Had to remake my account, not that I posted much in the first place. Anyways, the style number for the flyknit trainers is showing up in Finishline's system, no idea if they'll have the one's coming out Friday since they're not on our release list.
no they aren't.

I plan on running in both and they were both designed for running.  They way they have done it in the past (think Lunaracer vs. Lunar Trainer) is that in theory the racers are for races and trainers are for the training up to the race.  The trainers will have more cushioning and added overall weight.  The design of the flyknit is also slightly different between the racers and trainers.

Nike running shoes are made more narrow for forward movement ( running forward).. training shoes are are more bulky and wider for sideways (all around )movement..

im so lost. i thought 3 unreleased HTMs were releasing on saturday, or is is just 1948 london that's releasing one at a time? and it sounds like that blue green pair i want is the first to drop? and i guess in some peoples eyes they saved the best for last? lol. at least the new pics show us there's no custom clearcoat :D
just an fyi, friday might be a universal drop date. nike harajuku also appears to have both racers and 10 trainers for sale on 7/27 local time. and in sizes 23-29cm. I dont know if they sent the bigger sizes to the US since asians have small feet lol. i cant remember if anyone here already grabbed a size 12 or larger. that would be a major bummer for a lot of people if the biggest size in flyknits was an 11. size 23cm though ?! that's like size 4? i wonder if all colorways are going to be unisex.

"Nike presents the third release of the HTM FlyknitCollection:

This July, Nike releases its third installment of the HTMFlyknit collection. HTM, the ongoing collaboration between style leader and Fragment Design Founder Hiroshi Fujiwara, Nike design legend Tinker Hatfield and Nike Inc. CEO and designer Mark Parker, celebrates the groundbreaking performance attributes of a new technology that changes the way footwear is constructed.

Since 2002, these three designers have worked together to amplify new innovations, reinterpret existing designs, and explore concepts that take the brand to new places.

Pushing the boundaries of Nike Flyknit technology by showcasing the aesthetic possibilities of fabrics, colors and patterns, this third collection features a refreshed series of color ways. Releasing as a collection of six unique color ways, the HTM Trainer+ is woven into four classic solids, Black, Blue, Volt, and bold Red, embellished with the swoosh mark on the back heel. Two additional styles from the collection feature a multi-colored upper that is the result of the yarns from the classic solids coming together through multiple weave variations. This approach allows for varying hues to combine into an intricate variation of textured patterns producing a bold heathered upper that exhibits the precision and complexity of knit technology. Made complete with Nike’s signature Lunarlon cushioning system, the HTM Trainer+ is finished with a sleek whiteLunarlon sole that ties the collection together.

Launching first on July 26th at Nike’s 1948 location in London, the third release of the HTM Flyknit Collection in all six color ways will be available in limited quantities at select Nike retail locations globally. Please visit www.nikestadiums.com for more information on specific release dates."

Many sites are reporting that this round of HTM Flyknit's will release "globally" and later in to August. Like each Nike Stadium store is releasing theirs on different days.

****UPDATE****

Bad news for me. The two local Fleet Feets that were receiving Flyknits originally told me last week that they would receive their pairs this Wed/Thurs (7/ 25-7/24). When I called on Monday, both stores told me they would receive them this Friday (7/27). I just got off the phone today with both stores and they said their Flyknit stock was back-ordered for 2 months or so. I then told them that Fleet Feet Houston and a Fleet Feet in CT received and sold their stock. The guy from one store put me on hold to go ask the buyer some questions and came back and told me that Nike informed them that they were having production issues with the knitting machine. The Fleet Feet's which had received their stock got pairs before the production problems occurred. Nike stores were getting preference for the Flyknits already produced, so Fleet Feet has been back-ordered

I now am so happy I phone ordered pairs from Fleet Feet Houston.

Why August 12?
that's the release date at 1948 for the dark grey/black/university red/volt pair! wondering if that's the worldwide release date for that pair. wish they would release them all at once to make it easier to get.

I'm not surprised about the 1 per consumer from NDC. Good looks on the RRS.

So RRS is gonna get it on their website?

So these are limited.. I thought with 10 trainer colorways releasing there would be plenty to go around.  I will be on it right @8.  I don't expect to run into problems.

1 per color or 1 per "flyknit"?!  With a trainer and racer releasing, that's tough.

EDIT: Beat me to it BOSS. Chat rep told me

Joseph: You would be able to get one of each style if you wanted to.

So I just DM'd Nikestore about the 1 per consumer and they just replied saying "1 per colorway per consumer". If it is what I think it means than we should be fine. :lol

I asked the question right away.
1 per color, per consumer
men's size 4-15 !

HAHA Y'all beat me too it!

But heres the chat anyway LOL

Stephanie: Hi, my name is Stephanie. How may I help you?
Anthony Huynh: Hi, I need to know if the limit of 1 pair for customer for the Nike Flyknit is for 1 pair of racer and 1 pair of trainers or just 1 model in particular?
Stephanie: I will be happy to check that for you, one moment please.
Stephanie: The restriction is one style number per consumer, so you should be able to grab one of each.
Anthony Huynh: Also, if you wanted 3 colors of the Trainers, would you be able to make 3 seperate orders?
Stephanie: One moment please.
Stephanie: There again, they will have different style numbers, so yes, you can grab one of each color.
Anthony Huynh: SO when you say a different style # you mean theres only a limit if you want multiples of the SAME color?
Stephanie: Correct.
