I am really excited to run in these! Any more feedback from anyone that has actually run in them? I have been running in the Lunaracer's since they first dropped and love how light they are. I hope these will be a good upgrade. I am deciding between these two:

And getting these:

The Black cw looks too conservative, so I'd opt for the Trainers the White cw, as you can appreciate the engineered knitting more.

Two questions...

1.) Are they going to have trainers and racers?

2.) Any idea on which colorways they are going to be carrying?

they are supposed to be carrying both trainers and racers. as for the colorways, i'd bet it will be volts in both for sure. everything else, who knows. most stores have been receiving only one or two colorways, so it might be something similar. we can all hope for more though!

please excuse the pastiness. i like the look and feel of these a lot more than the trainers. i wish there were more colorways coming out on friday, but i guess that will save me from having to make some tough decisions! hopefully everyone here is able to get what they want.

I like the look of the Racers better as well. Im definitely getting both Racer color-ways. Good to hear that you like the feel of the racers better than the trainers. That makes me even more hopeful. Thanks for the great picture!

I'm actually going to get the volt racers and deciding between the mostly black/white up there or the black with white toe. The decision is tough on the trainers because the black is easier to wear because it's subtle but also it doesn't show off the technology of the flyknit.

the one on the left is tts. there is like 1.5 thumb widths at least, and that continues around all of my other toes on the outside. when i take a step the shoe creases around the whole edge of my toes.

the one on the right is .5 down. a little hard to see with the angle, but there is about a thumb width of space between my big toe and the end and about half a thumb width around the other toes.

i'd say it's just personal preference. at most i will be wearing a super thin sock, but i will probably go no socks many times over the course of the summer even though i know they will get nasty.

Call your local Nike Running store, and ask about 'em. Two within my area'll launch 'em on Friday.

Regarding RRS, I don't think they'll have a wide cw selection. Judging from my local RRS's inventory of cws for the same shoe, I'd bet they'd only have up to three cws MAX.

i was getting a pair of racers and trainers but i've noticed about the red/blue/orange-blue trainers, that the inside foot of the shoe doesn't have that black part. I mean this:

I like that style than all blue or red etc. bummer

this thread is great. so much info being shared. at the most, imma get a pair of the gr trainers for myself and one for my pops - really disappointed that they dropped the lunar - if anything, i'd prefer the sole used on the shoes made for that runner dude. i'm really holding out for a pair of HTMs but that pair on ebay right now is at a stupid price.

^^ I think the only asymmetrical pairs of the general release are both color-ways of the Racer and the Volt Trainer. I think every other pair has the same coloring on both side of the shoe.


^The eBay prices are ridiculous even for the GR's, but $2,000 buy it now for the HTM lunar Trainers? Too ridiculous.

2gs sounds a lot but if you think about it, there is only 100 of each HTM so chances of seeing/meeting someone with the same shoe is rare. There are plenty of other shoes that are less limited and go for the same amount.

im so confused by this post, maybe because its early in the morning and I haven't quite woken up yet. But, the shoe on the left is TTS, so if I were a 10.5 and got a 10.5 I would have THAT MUCH extra room in the front of the shoe?!

So everyone should stop buying what they love because 2gs is too much for you? I think 500k is too much for a car but you dont see me knocking others.
