A little heads up for my fellow Flyknit folk. I just ordered the volt trainers from Finishline and somehow was able to use a reward AND a 20 off 100! Total came to 120 something and I had a gift card. Wound up getting them after the giftcard for $30 2nd day air! If u have a reward and a 20 off goto Finishline with the product number and order. They have color codes

Can't figure out if the USA Athletes are wearing the Volt Trainers or the Racers? Or maybe both...

He's talking about the Stadium Cuff Pants
haha, yeah, i was talking about the pants. i found the stadium pants on ndc with the "nike" above the swoosh logo or the nike sportswear logo that was the same color as the pants. can't find the black ones with just a white swoosh.

as for the flyknits, i received both my trainers and racers yesterday. racers were cool, but trainers will be returned. flyknits as a whole, in my opinion, are way overrated. they don't look that great, and definitely didn't feel that great to me. and for $150, definitely aren't cheap. but then again, i'm a huge fan of lunar anything, so.....

Hmm... I really want to try 'em on! Maybe the LG4-soled version will make you reconsider?

I got my Orange Racers in yesterday. I have space in the toebox, which I like but its too tight further along the shoe. Aside from that it's really light and you barely notice you have them on weight wise, which is good. I was going to wear my pair both casually and when I'm running but seeing as they don't fit me as well as I hoped they would it looks like I might have to send them back.

How? I can't find them on their site...

My local Finishline (Millenia Mall) received the volt and orange racers and trainers. They said more pairs will be coming next week. Keep your eyes peeled!

He meant go to an actual B&M Finishline and order in store.

I  tried these on at NTNY. They look a lot better than they feel. Maybe im just used to Free Runs. But I was considering coppin just cause of how sleek they look. $150 though...

they fit true to size. I wear a 10 in basically every Nike. I tried on the trainers in both a 9.5 and a 10. There was a little room in the toes on the 10 but the 9.5 were too narrow in width, they felt uncomfortable so I went with the size 10 which I normally wear.

NDC cancelled my order from last friday. yay! lol

guess i'll have to hunt these down.

Checked UPS.com on my NDC order and shows "Exception" due to a "Late Train." I was expecting them today and was gonna wear em all weekend, and now there's no more expected shipping date. FML FirstWorldProblems

I got all black in size 13 and white/black in size 12.5. The 12.5 white/black fit perfect. The black 13 are a little long. I usually wear a size 13 in Nike Frees. So, I was surprised. I was worried the 12.5 were going to be too small based on feedback from people on here. I guess it is all based on preference. I wish i could get the black/white or any other color in 12.5. These things are amazing looking. I do have volts/electric green Racers on the way (location unknown muahaha!) in size 13. So, now, I'm nervous these volts are going to be too big.

same with me. good thing i got my other pair though

After I wore mine in the gym yesterday I left them in my car to wear them in the gym today. When I put them on today I'm almost positive the toe area is fitting tighter. I'm wondering if the heat in my car could havr somehow caused them to shrink a little.

Just got mine! So stoked! Had to go down half a size in the trainers, noticed a lot of heel slippage in the 9.5.

Finally got my Racers in today. Glad I went a half size down. I have been wearing my Trainers for a week now and as soon as I put on the Racers I noticed immediately how much better they feel on my feet. They feel like they wrap around my feet and conform to my feet much better than the Trainers. My only qualm is that they are much brighter in person. I really prefer the color-ways in which the base color in not so bright and the details are bright and/or intricate. Much like the volt and red ribbing in the first Blue Racer HTM color-way.

I've put 20 miles in so far and overall I am really happy with the shoes. My one down side is that my calves are killing me. Anyone else getting this? I am used to running on Lunars so I am wondering if I am not used to the zoom.

This!

I had the opportunity to try them on today. I tried on both (Racers & Trainers). With regards to size, for me, the Racers definitely felt TRUE to SIZE. They're significanty more narrow than the Trainers, which felt 1/2 size bigger.

When I tried them on I wasn't too impressed. Like Picasso, I was wearing FRs to the store, and I felt they were more comfy than the FKs. It may be a stretch to some, they felt like a more breathable, lighter and performance version of the Roshe Run. They both look AMAZING though, especially the Trainers.

From a runner's perspective, they seem
Ilke they'll perform well. Their soles are FIRM, their outsoles are pretty lower to the ground compared to Lunars and the other traditional cushion heavy runners. Firm soles and a more closer to the ground profile are components of a good tempo shoe. Looking at both their outsoles (Racers & Trainers) has me concerned about their life span, as both soles looked really thin compared to Lunars. If I were to guess how long they'd last, I'd estimate 250-300mi.

All in all, despite their AMAZING look and construction process, considering components of fit, comfort and presumed durability, I honestly think $150 is a robbery for these. I'll gladly wait for the Lunar One+, which'll pobably be cheaper.

I agree with you Ray that the Free's are more comfortable than these. I am happy with my purchase and my Flyknit's are a welcome addition to my sneaker rotation. My opinion is for comfort FR2>FR3≥Flyknit. The FR2's are the most soft upper combined with the flexibility and cushioning of the Free Run sole. The flyknit upper is definitely more stiff as is the sole. The Flyknits form to your feet after a couple of wears, but I is hard to justify a collection as large as your's Ray, at $150 a pop. Especially when with a little searching GR Free Run 2 and 3's can be found for around $60. And you can always OD on the NikeID withe the Free Runs.

On a side note, I like lunar racer soles, but sometimes I feel like my foot moves too much on top of it. Almost the sensation of standing on a couch cushion, soft but not always the most stable.

Comfortwise, I'd rank the FR2s, 3s and FKs exactly as you have, Cody.

Personally, I'd look elsewhere if I was looking for a performance shoe.

Contrastingly, as a casual sneaker, I'd welcome Zoom FKs (for $90) into my collection with no question, but $150 is just too much for me. If I were to spend that much, I want everything (or mostly) to be the way I want it (NIKEiD).
