It only took 2 coats so the tongue didn't really stiffen at all.
Cracking is the number one thing I'm worried about. People have had tons of success in repainting Jordan 3, 4, 5, and 6 midsoles (which are notorious for the factory paint cracking) with Angelus paint so I figured I could have a similar result with these. The thing that worries me though is that the Lunar midsole is sort of bouncy/springy and flexes alot more than the Jordan midsoles do. I'm gonna take it slow and apply around 5-6 very thin coats to try and combat the cracking. Hopefully it'll work out :\.
Do you recall if the pair that you pictured eventually started cracking?
Have you tried using very fine grit sandpaper to rough it up. Paint tends to stick better.

I'm still unclear on customs. I've heard about custom fees, but I've order $505 USD from kicks-crew before (last year) and haven't been hit with customs.
