DHI is 2018 batch. When Dior Homme Parfum came out, i sold all my DHI stupidly, thinking DHP was far superior. I think they both deserve a spot in the forever collection.

bro my favorite deal ive ever gotten in my life frag wise was DHI. paid 95 bucks for a 100 ml dhi off kingdom fragrances and buddy sent me a 150 ml sealed. i was a happy camper to say the least.Morning mail call.
I’ll post the split this weekend, the second bottle doesn’t arrive until early next week. Looking at $1.25 per ml, plus shipping and supplies.
I haven’t had a bottle of DHI is like 4 years. This one is never leaving, I don’t care if I only wear it once a year until I’m dead. Too many good memories attached to the scent.

Blind buy…. Someone says it smells like a five star hotel in dubai. I’ve never been to Dubai but it definitely smells like a five start hotel
Been wearing this for a week now and gotten multiple compliments from both male and female
It smells like grapefruit but not fruity. It has a subtle woody and smoky smell once it settles into the skin but still very fresh from the grapefruit scent.
The lasting power is amazing as well. Lasts the whole day for me.
Would highly recommend.

The bottom bottle is the tester juice that arrived last week that matched the color of the sample I used (to my nose same exact fragrance)
The top bottle is the juice that came in straight from Comptoir today, a super apparent reformulation looks wise, and the smell wise. I gotta give it a full wearing tomorrow, but I got a feeling this joint is going back.
Edit: good news, which threw me off, the new bottle has a bright lime opening, and the dark juice, I get absolutely no lime at the beginning. They smell very similar right now fifteen mins in, I hope it’s just new juice vs old juice.
Ok, maybe I’m tripping lol.
Sample, tester, and new juice side by side. Maybe it’s just a matter of age and maceration. Ima wear them to sleep and make the call in the morning, cause decanted the color difference is minimal.

Edit: TL,DR - initially smelled like gasoline, jarring. Magically transforms into flowery scent with fainter gas base. Super interesting/complex. Went from disliking it to now my favorite scent I own!

It’s subjective/matter of taste, of course, but I’ll share my experience with Ombré Leather:
About a year ago, I was happy to have receive a sample. Put on two sprays, and was stunned. It smelled like GASOLINE! It was jarring. I didn’t understand why anyone would want to smell like that. It was a really confusing experience.
But about ten minutes later, I noticed the scent started transforming. The gas scent was mellowing. And about 15-30 minutes after initial spray, the main scent was suddenly kind of flowery, like roses. You could still smell the gas scent in the background, which makes for a very interesting/complex combination.
I went from instantly disliking it, to half an hour later being very intrigued. I wore it a few more times and each time came to appreciate it more and more. By the third or fourth day using the sample, I loved it and bought a 50ml.
I recently bought a 100ml full bottle since I’m almost done with the 50ml. Its my favorite scent I own. It’s just so unique and interesting. When I wear it, I’m constantly sniffing my wrist or shirt. I think of it similarly to scotch or sushi or jazz (sorry if these examples aren’t great), in that a lot of people don’t like these things, but the people that do like them REALLY appreciate them.

I was going to ask how’s that bottle treating you! I’m still head over heels with it, all these years in the game I’ve truly never experienced a tobacco scent like it. Best way I can put it is if Herod and Pure Havane had a baby w/ Xerjoff Naxos blending.
