What u mad? I meant it as compliment. I actually own a TV, so I've been able to see them play. And they have not played this well all season long because if they did they wouldn't be an 8th seed.....

This isnt the same team from Oct-Dec. After January, they have been playing at this level for awhile. Ive been saying that the 8th seed thing has been blown out of context.

I've watched a few games Memphis has played this season. The 4 they played against the Lakers and a few others.
I always knew they were a hustle team and just grinded games out and got alot of good wins like that, but still...This is not the same team I saw in the regular season IMO.
This team is dominating some of these games without Rudy Gay. Even if they're up just few points, they stay up on the opposing team the whole game.
I knew they could beat the Spurs, but didn't think they'd win game 1 vs OKC.
Congrats to all you Memphis fans, and good luck to you guys the rest of the way.
Serious question though. Is it possible this team is PLAYING better without Rudy Gay? Not saying they're a better team without him, keyword PLAYING better? Being that without him other players get alot more touches?

Besides just having a good jump shot, defenders are so worried about getting beat off the dribble, he creates enough space with his jab step-step back-hesitation move. He ends up getting a good look more times than not in doing so.
